Key Responsibilities

  • Generate shop/construction drawings
  • Create detailed setup prints to include booth and property locations, electrical and networking requirements, hanging banner locations, carpet layouts, etc
  • Create 3D parts files for use on the CNC router
  • Attend production launch meetings and contribute to meetings by providing technical expertise and knowledge to the team

Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.

This role is responsible for cultivating a culture of sustainable improvement by embedding Lean principles, strengthening operational systems, and driving measurable enhancements in manufacturing and business processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership and global Lean partners to implement strategy, standardize best practices, and elevate performance across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive Lean Manufacturing strategy aligned with an established Lean Operating System.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to engage leadership and operational teams in Lean deployment.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sustainable operational improvements.
  • Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and the deployment of a Lean Operating System.
  • Strong knowledge of value stream improvement tools (SMED, 6S, visual management, daily management, standard work).
  • Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.

The Mechanical Engineering Department is seeking an Senior Engineer to provide Site Development and Integration expertise.  The Site Development & Integration section performs large scale, complex site development and onsite support. Engineers will perform research, design, support construction and development of military and commercial facilities.

The position is for the Marlborough, Massachusetts location.  This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

Develop, revise, and maintain AutoCAD drawings, models, and designs from verbal directions, hand drawn sketches, and existing hard copy drawings.

Use preliminary sketches, diagrams, and other engineering information to generate conceptual layouts for notional facility systems using CAD tools such as Autocad, and Revit.

Support site surveys for facility infrastructure solutions.

Develop facility requirements and design development documents for defense system equipment in accordance with system requirements.

Work with Architect/Engineering (A/E) contractors facility design effort.

Review and approve shop drawings and construction specifications.

Document and manage action items, field issues, and change requests including coordination with home office engineering, equipment suppliers, and onsite teams.

Collaborate and coordinate work activities with Raytheon, Government, and subcontractors.

Basic knowledge of DOD codes and standards, including Unified Facility Codes (UFC’s) for site installations.

Travel is expected to be 20% both domestically and internationally.  Travel could include multiple week duration trips.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited University and has passed the fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT/FE) plus eight (8) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Familiar in the use of drafting software including Revit and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with building codes for commercial, industrial and military/Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.
