Job Summary:

The Electrical Project Manager position will initially focus on business and relationship development with a goal of developing a healthy, sustainable backlog. Oversee the design, fabrication | procurement and installation per the scope of supply and contract documents. Ensure the project is completed on time, to a high standard, within budget and schedule constraints. The project manager ensures details match the intent of design, project specification, and meet local and national code requirements. The PM is the front-line Champion of our safety program and culture, leading by example, with consistent, fair, and concise accountability.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project to the contract terms and conditions, ensuring proper, clear, and timely client notification of change to contract and commercial and schedule impact. Provide oversite to support groups: Project Engineering, Project Administration, Accounting, Safety, Quality, Project Controls and Purchasing.

The Project Manager is responsible for fostering healthy relationships with clients, direct reports, suppliers, support organizations, senior management, and other stake holders. As the face of the company the Project Manager always represents Revolution Industrial’s core values.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage a complex team of various stakeholders on the job site.


Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

· Understand contract terms, conditions, and scope of supply.

· Work closely with all supporting entities and stakeholders to ensure proper and efficient delivery of the project scope of supply, to include:

This position is responsible for working with the Estimating Group to provide complete proposal packages for client turnover. The individual filling this role will be responsible for estimating projects the size and scope of up to $25M, depending on the complexity of the project and the amount of self-performance work.



Job Duties:

· Estimate projects the size and scope of up to $25MM, depending on the complexity of the project and the amount of self-performance work.

· Attend pre-bid meetings.

· Read and understand all bid documents. These are to include all drawings, scope of work, contract documents and project specific specifications.

· Draft pre-estimate checklist & opportunity matrix based on information from the bid documents and pre-bid meeting. Ability to quickly establish ROM pricing for further evaluation of opportunities.

· Set up bid review meetings.

· Review Request for Information (RFIs) to address questions throughout the bid process.

· Perform quantity take-offs and review junior estimator takeoffs and, if necessary, enter into estimating software.

· Assign labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to the task quantities.

· Support Junior Estimator in work with subcontractors and vendors for pricing. Expectation of three estimates per trade or material.

· Understand project requirements and assign indirect costs.

· Capacity to break projects down to a granular level to establish the work breakdown structure that can be directly transferred to the project reporting/coding structure.

· Generate cashflow table and project risk analysis reports and associated contingency evaluation.

· Generate all submittals called for in the RFQ.

Skills/Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management / engineering or other relevant discipline with 5 years' experience in Industrial Construction

· Scheduling experience with MSP or P6.

Responsibilities

Surface Warfare Officers (SWOs) are involved in virtually every aspect of Navy missions. As a SWO, you may be in charge of any number of shipboard operations and activities while at sea, working with or within any of these specialized forces:

Aircraft Carrier Forces: Provide and coordinate air, submarine and surface ship defense for aircraft carriers.

Cruiser-Destroyer Forces: Provide ship attack and defensive measures with a wide array of missile and fire power capabilities, providing anti-air, -submarine and -surface warfare support.

Amphibious Forces: Embark and transport vehicles, equipment and personnel for amphibious assault operations.

Combat-Logistics Forces: Provide combatant ships with fuel, ammunition, food and supplies, and provide repair, maintenance and rescue capabilities through Fleet Support Ships.

Mine Warfare Forces: Detect, identify and neutralize threats from hostile use of maritime mines.

Work Environment

Position Overview:

Job Duties:

Project Assessment:

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to thoroughly understand the technical requirements of mission-critical/data center projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify key project elements.

Cost Estimation:

  • Utilize industry-standard estimating software and methodologies to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
  • Analyze project components, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, to develop comprehensive project budgets.

Bid Preparation:

  • Prepare and submit competitive and well-organized bids in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing for materials and subcontractor services.

Risk Analysis:

  • Evaluate potential risks associated with project execution and incorporate risk mitigation strategies into cost estimates.
  • Provide insights into alternative solutions or cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure alignment between the estimated costs and project budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to gather insights that enhance the accuracy of estimates.

About the Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in securing new work and supporting our operations team with accurate, thoughtful estimates. You’ll lead bids for public works and private development projects, and prepare estimates for self-perform scopes including grading, paving, wet utilities, and concrete. You’ll also contribute to general contracting opportunities across Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and JOC delivery methods.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications to understand scope and develop accurate estimates.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing using self-perform production-based estimates or unit price estimating.
  • Manage bid setups in HCSS HeavyJob software, ensuring all required documentation is included.
  • Solicit and organize quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the estimating team to meet all deadlines and support each other in completing tasks.
  • Train, mentor, and lead junior estimating staff, helping them develop their skills and achieve their best.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of estimating practices, guides, and tutorials to streamline processes.
  • Participate in ongoing estimating training to enhance your skills and knowledge.


What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field—or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of heavy civil experience
  • Familiarity with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, On-Screen Takeoff, Agtek, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of estimating techniques, cost control, subcontractor solicitation, and material specifications.
  • Knowledge of municipal specifications and understanding of project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Job Order Contracts (JOC).
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
