Position Responsibilities:

• Work from blueprints, templates, detail drawings, and verbal instructions to perform surface finish/conditioning on coordination holes in milled skins and spars.

• Use templates and jigs to properly position parts for subsequent finishing operations, including reaming, countersinking, and cold work.

• Scribe tooling locations and reference lines as specified in engineering drawings and specifications.

• Diagnose and correct any detected discrepancies in parts and processes.

• Check finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, trammels, probes).

• Use hand and power tools, including air motors, reamers, and cold-work guns, to perform finishing duties on machined parts.

• Operate ground-controlled handling equipment to load, unload, and move parts within the shop.

• Perform rework as required, including filing, scraping, sanding, grinding, and hand finishing to meet gauge tolerances.

• Locate points and holes from established reference lines or index points using prints, templates, and work orders.

• Perform visual and functional checks on tools and accessories, making necessary adjustments and ensuring they are in good condition.

• Access workload using online computer systems and assign work based on priority or Team Leader direction.

• Review Work Order (W/O) to determine work requirements and ensure prior operations are complete.

• Consult with supervisor/team lead and other sources (e.g., engineering, planning, inspection) to resolve problems.

• Call for inspection or use SI&A as required throughout the process, including checking hole sizes and inspecting countersinks.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in an approved manner while maintaining personal and tool certifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

• Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Basic computer experience and competency.

• Able to close tolerance drill within .003 and able to precision measure between .003.

• Rework materials per engineering specifications and incorporate changes as needed, including leather repairs and touch-ups. 

• Remove marks and scratches from metal surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques. 

• Seal edges of repair areas with color-matched sealant as required.

• Consult with engineering, planning, and inspection on job-related issues and contact team leaders or supervisors when assistance is needed. 

• Document repairs identified by other mechanics and maintain personal certifications as required.

We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. Data Engineer (Hybrid) on our Information Technology team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing
and maintaining AMA's enterprise data platform to support analytics,
interoperability, and responsible AI adoption. This role partners closely with
platform engineering, data governance, data science, IT security, and business
stakeholders to deliver highquality, reliable, and secure data products. This
role contributes to AMA's modern lakehouse architecture, optimizing data
operations, and embedding governance and quality standards into engineering
workflows. This role serves as a
senior technical contributor within the team-providing mentorship to junior
engineers and implementing engineering best practices within the data platform function,
in alignment with architectural direction set by leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Engineering & AI Enablement

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and
  ETL/ELT workflows supporting analytics, operational reporting, and AI/ML use
  cases.
• Implement best practice patterns for ingestion,
  transformation, modeling, and orchestration within a modern lakehouse
  environment (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake).
• Develop highperformance
  data models and curated datasets with strong attention to quality, usability,
  and interoperability; create reusable engineering components and automation.
• Collaborate with the Architecture Team, the Data
  Platform Lead, and federated IT teams to optimize storage, compute, and
  architectural patterns for performance and costefficiency.
• Build model-ready data sets and feature
  pipelines to support AI/ ML use cases; serve as a technical coordination point
  supporting business units' AI-related infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI Working
  Group to operationalize models responsibly and maintain ongoing monitoring
  signals.

Governance, Quality & Compliance

• Embed data governance, metadata standards,
  lineage tracking, and quality controls directly into engineering workflows;
  ensure technical implementation and alignment within engineering workflows.
• Work with the Data Governance Lead and business
  stakeholders to operationalize stewardship, classification, validation,
  retention, and access standards.
• Implement privacybydesign and securitybydesign
  principles, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory
  obligations.
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, datasets,
  and transformations to support transparency and audit requirements.

Platform Reliability, Observability & Optimization

• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures,
  performance bottlenecks, data anomalies, and platformlevel issues.
• Implement observability tooling, alerts,
  logging, and dashboards to ensure endtoend reliability.
• Support cost governance by optimizing compute
  resources, refining job schedules, and advising on efficient architecture.
• Collaborate with the Data Platform Lead on
  scaling, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
• Collaborate with business units to understand
  data needs, translate them into engineering requirements, and deliver
  fit-for-purpose data solutions; share and apply best practices and emerging
  technologies within assigned initiatives.
• Work with IT Security and Legal/ Compliance to
  ensure platform and datasets meet risk and regulatory standards.
  

Staff Management

• Lead, mentor, and provide management oversight
  for staff.
• Responsible for setting objectives, evaluating
  employee performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Responsible for developing staff knowledge and
  skills to support career development.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience and HS diploma/equivalent education required.
2. 5+ years of experience in data engineering within cloud environments
3. Experience in people management preferred.
4. Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks preferred).
5. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data
   transformation frameworks.
6. Experience designing and operationalizing
   ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration workflows (Airflow, Databricks Workflows), and
   CI/CD processes.
7. Solid understanding of data modeling,
   structured/unstructured data patterns, and schema design.
8. Experience implementing governance and quality
   controls: metadata, lineage, validation, stewardship workflows.
9. Working knowledge of cloud architecture, IAM,
   networking, and security best practices.
10. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across
    technical and business teams.
11. Exposure to AI/ML engineering concepts, feature
    stores, model monitoring, or MLOps patterns.
12. Experience with infrastructureascode
    (Terraform, CloudFormation) or DevOps tooling.

The Clinical Affairs Manager will provide clinical expertise, insight, and support to clinical end-users, clinical sales specialists, sales team, Regulatory, Engineering, marketing, and other corporate departments on safe and effective use of the Teleflex Medical product portfolio with primary emphasis on the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise. This position will support the appropriate clinical application of the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise via didactic, web-based, and teleconference education, and understanding of these products and best practices. Clinical support will be provided to physicians, nurses, techs, etc., to include support for live cases/proctorships in the therapeutic areas related to focus products. The Clinical Affairs Manager will drive innovation by identifying product attributes necessary to expand into new markets, or capitalize on new clinical applications; identify new, clinically driven product and market opportunities; and perform other related duties as required. Coordinate, participate, and manage educational, scientific activities at identified local, regional, and national trade shows/exhibitions. Serve as part of the CMA clinical expert team on product applications and troubleshooting when interfacing with SBU Leadership, Clinical Sales Specialists, and Teleflex team members. Participate as a clinical expert on project teams, committees, and in meetings with various corporate departments to provide guidance as to the clinical perspectives for the Coronary/Structural franchise. Build and support infrastructure for speaker programs supporting Teleflex Academy, webinars, training content, and programs. Coordinate and participate in content development and review of education material as needed by IA BU or CMA. Manage all business-associated administrative tasks and responsibilities to support job-related activities, to include strict adherence to the Teleflex Medical T&E policies and procedures, timely filing of required and/or requested reports, and documentation of activities via approved documents and forms. Adhere to applicable Teleflex IPPs, Teleflex Code of Ethics, and all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in clinical, biology, health sciences, or engineering. Procedural experience within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart Possess a minimum of five years' clinical exposure in the medical field in the Cardiology environment. Medical Device industry supporting Clinical and Medical Affairs, strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SalesForce experience preferred.
