The CMA/RMA Coordinator coordinates the Medical Assistant (MA) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) activity for assigned clinical departments under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor. Collaborates with Nursing Supervisor to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained and department workflows are effective and efficient. Oversees all POC competencies for departments, involved in training and onboarding of new CMA's, assists with annual CMA competencies, provides patient care, assists with in-basket work.

Rooming patients: Collecting pertinent information regarding the patient's chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and medication reconciliation upon arrival for a patient visit. Telephone Interactions: As directed, completing necessary telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and/or other health care facilities. Gathering information and maintaining patient information via telephone per department specific processes and policies. Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, patient check in or check out, prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, verification of benefits, and coordination of referrals and testing. Office procedures as directed and per department specific competencies. May perform procedures such as urine catheterizations, bladder scanning, suture or staple removal, application or removal of casts at the direction of a provider, reading results of negative TB skin tests or steering patient to the care of a department nurse when TB screening appears to have indications of a positive read, and other diagnostic testing at the point of care. Provide patient with written instructions regarding procedures, medications, or follow up instructions at the direction of the provider. CMA staff may retrieve and provide condition specific education from the internet, internal website, or printed materials per the provider directions and orders. This position will act as a Supervisor role over the night shift Respiratory Care staff, including RC techs and RRT's. Review night shift staffing with Manager and leader on call weekly.
Assist Manager in completing performance evaluations and check in's on night shift staff.
Ensure all code boxes are checked and stocked routinely.
Check consumable supply levels weekly and order supplies as needed. Make Manager aware of any back-orders.
Checks outdates on disinfectant tubs and ensures documentation of testing is done on schedule.
Performs any special projects that may come up or be assigned by the Manager.
Assists manager completing and monitoring payroll.

What you'll do:
- Receive 6 months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives
- Help your account executive solve customer needs, find carriers for time-sensitive freight and manage daily operations
- Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions
- Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling
- Build your book
- Use your training to meet sales metrics and become eligible for commission
- Establish relationships to close new customers
- Negotiate prices with customers and carriers
- Resolve freight issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery
