We are looking for a Project Manager to work on-site at a client facility in Sistersville, WV. This contract is estimated to last approximately 1 year or more, with the potential of extension to permanent full-time employment. Client facility is a chemical plant and will require the Project Manager to manage multiple capital projects at a time. Candidates for this position should have large-scale plant and industrial chemical experience. This is an ON-SITE position and remote candidates cannot be considered.


The Project Manager is responsible for managing all activities for Professional Engineering projects in accordance with the project schedule and budget. This includes directing and coordinating an engineering design team and/or subcontractor activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, project cost control, client/vendor/contractor interface, and contract specifications. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with the client for all project-related activities and communication. This individual is expected to fulfill the requirements of the position and understands that the design process includes visiting clients’ facilities where they may be expected to perform physical work.

Education/Experience/Key Responsibilities:

  • BS degree in and Engineering discipline; Chemical preferred. Other degrees may be considered based on past project experiences.
  • Ten (10) years minimum project management or project engineering experience in Chemical or Petrochemical industries, including scope, budget, schedule and construction oversight.
  • Provide project management of multi-disciplined engineering projects and maintain responsibility for overall execution of work.
  • Establish project schedule and budget and execute and monitor progress in meeting schedule, budget and contractual requirements.
  • Anticipate project staffing needs and provide input to selection of project team members.
  • Establish objectives and provide performance feedback for project team members.
  • Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with others.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients regarding project related items.
  • Ensure that Chemstress and the clients QC procedures are followed.
  • Lead data gathering, design reviews, installs, checkout/startups and troubleshooting. efforts associated with project work.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel and able to review drawings using various CAD packages.
  • Experience with managing contractors and vendors.
  • Experience with managing capital engineering service projects.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Program Oversight
Serve as the physician lead for the Hospital at Home and Acute Care at Home program.
Establish and maintain clinical protocols, care pathways, and admission criteria for acute home-based care.
Provide medical oversight for care delivered by the interdisciplinary acute care at home team, including advanced practice providers, nurses, and paramedics.
Ensure alignment with evidence-based practices and national standards for Hospital at Home care.
Oversee clinical decision-making processes related to admission, escalation of care, and safe discharge.

Quality, Safety & Compliance
Partner with Quality and Patient Safety teams to monitor clinical outcomes, safety metrics, and patient experience.
Lead morbidity and mortality reviews related to acute care at home patients as needed.
Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, state regulations, and payer requirements.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
Avoided

ED admissions and referrals
Readmission rates
Length of stay
Escalation to inpatient care
Patient satisfaction
Cost of care

Operational & Strategic Leadership
Collaborate with operational leaders to scale the program across the health system.
Support workforce planning, including physician and APP staffing models.

Engage with external stakeholders including payers, vendors, and community partners.

Education & Collaboration
Provide clinical education and mentorship to HaH and AHH clinicians and staff.
Partner with hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, primary care, and specialty teams to ensure smooth transitions of care.
Participate in system-wide clinical councils and governance structures as appropriate.
Represent the Hospital at Home and Acute care at home program in internal and external forums.

Required Qualifications:
MD or DO required
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Hospital Medicine
Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of practice
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in acute care, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine
Prior physician leadership experience (Medical Director, Chief, or equivalent preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for both residential and commercial claims

This is a Remote-Field position in which you will work from home and utilize a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments. Although the primary work location is in the field, with a commutable distance from home, there will be opportunities for virtual work to be completed at home. Additionally, there may be occasions where you will be required to travel outside your assigned area to assist in other territories.  

Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible schedules and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.   


Qualifications

 

Competitive candidates must demonstrate:

  • Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in the insurance industry, specifically in property claims
  • Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage and claim handling practices
  • Knowledge of both residential and commercial building construction
  • Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in your assigned territory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, agents, and other stakeholders
  • Proven effective communication skills to handle difficult/emotional conversations with a customer-minded focus
  • Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools 
  • Physical agility to allow for: frequent lifting, carrying and climbing a ladder; ability to navigate roofs at various heights for inspection of both residential and commercial structures; ability to crawl in tight spaces

Surface Warfare Officers (SWOs) are involved in virtually every aspect of Navy missions. As a SWO, you may be in charge of any number of shipboard operations and activities while at sea, working with or within any of these specialized forces:

Aircraft Carrier Forces: Provide and coordinate air, submarine and surface ship defense for aircraft carriers.

Cruiser-Destroyer Forces: Provide ship attack and defensive measures with a wide array of missile and fire power capabilities, providing anti-air, -submarine and -surface warfare support.

Amphibious Forces: Embark and transport vehicles, equipment and personnel for amphibious assault operations.

Combat-Logistics Forces: Provide combatant ships with fuel, ammunition, food and supplies, and provide repair, maintenance and rescue capabilities through Fleet Support Ships.

Mine Warfare Forces: Detect, identify and neutralize threats from hostile use of maritime mines.

Work Environment

As a Surface Warfare Officer, you will work at sea and on shore, in a variety of environments. Sea duty could place you aboard ships within the fleet. Shore duty may involve a tour of duty at the Pentagon, a student assignment at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, or command and management positions at shore bases and stations around the world.

Training & Advancement

Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.

Unless they have already been commissioned through the Naval Academy or ROTC, those pursuing a Surface Warfare Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School. Newly commissioned SWOs can expect an advanced training process that includes comprehensive training at sea and ashore.

Newly commissioned Surface Warfare Officers will be assigned to a surface ship, leading a team of Sailors responsible for a component of the ship - anything from electronics to weapons to engineering systems. In this setting, Officers are working toward full Surface Warfare qualification.

After completing these initial sea tours, Surface Warfare Officers may be selected to serve on high-level staffs, commands or strategic projects or they may be selected to work in recruitment. The ultimate goal for many: to one day command their own ship.

Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer.

There are different ways to become a SWO. If you're a high school student or an undergraduate, you can enter through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) or through the U.S. Naval Academy. Those already having a degree attend Officer Candidate School (OCS), a 12-week Navy school in Newport, RI.

All candidates must also be U.S. Citizens.

General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.

Part-Time Opportunities

There are part-time opportunities available as a Surface Warfare Officer.

Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Surface Warfare Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.

For annual training, Surface Warfare Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent of that.

Surface Warfare Officers in the Navy Reserve serve in an Officer role. Before receiving the ongoing professional training that comes with this job, initial training requirements must first be met.

For current or former Navy Officers (NAVET): Prior experience satisfies the initial leadership training requirement - so you will not need to go through Officer Training again.

Officers who previously held a commission in another United States Military Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Public Health Service, or United States Coast Guard are exempt from attending ODS or LDO/CWO Academy.
