The Teacher Aide provides direct help to classroom teachers, contributing to an engaging learning environment. The Associate Director, Quality Control will be responsible for providing strategic, scientific, and operational leadership for the development, qualification, validation, and lifecycle management of analytical methods supporting Upstream Bio’s lead program verekitug. This role will manage and execute GMP quality control (QC) activities directly related to batch release for clinical trial material supply. The leader in this role must assure that quality controls for investigational new drugs (investigational medicinal products) meet all quality requirements, regulatory standards, and meet continuous clinical supply and delivery expectations. The Associate Director will report to Senior Director of Analytical and serve as a key partner to Quality, CMC, Regulatory, and cross-functional teams. This individual will provide technical guidance and business acumen to ensure execution of analytical activities for late-stage programs through BLA/MAA submission, approval, and commercial launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author, review and approve analytical method procedures/SOPs
• Author, review and approve analytical method transfer/qualification/validation protocols and reports
• Manage external CDMOs and CROs to execute Development and GMP release and stability testing of Drug Substance and Drug Product in a compliant-manner

Qualifications:

• Experience in stability study performance/evaluation and/or knowledge/familiarity with USP/compendial testing is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a diverse team environment are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software (Word / EXCEL / PowerPoint), Stability software and statistical analysis/trending to support shelf life and labeling is expected.

Knowledge and skills (general and technical) preferred:

Compensation

Target Salary Range: $176,400 - $215,600

Summary

Essential Functions

• Work as a team with commercial real estate portfolio asset managers
• Produce monthly and quarterly surveillance summaries and reporting for senior review which contain all relevant information related to monitoring borrower performance against business plan and compliance against loan documents as well as aggregated portfolio metrics
• Prepare cash flow models used for forecasting and investment performance

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Semiconductor Dry Etch Engineering Lead to join our III-V compound semiconductor foundry team fabricating gallium nitride and gallium arsenide-based devices within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.  This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing and subject matter expertise in one or more dry etch related techniques including plasma ashing/descum, reactive ion etching (RIE), and inductively coupled etching (ICP).

As a member of the AMS Department, the individual in this role will serve as the dry etch processes lead engineer and collaborate with the various engineering work centers in the III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. The candidate will lead and assist projects in process sustainment, capital allocation, directing process and capital qualifications, improving cycle time, improving product yield, developing new data driven controls, and driving overall wafer movement efficiency.

The chosen candidate is expected to be an innovative and creative thinker capable of probing issues and reaching solutions both independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of various microelectronics processing techniques beyond deposition, including wet and dry etching, lift-off techniques, photolithography, metrology, process characterization, foundry data integrity, and large data analysis methods.

The candidate is expected to work well in large and small, cross-functional teams, understand foundry processes, determine capacity limitations, improve overall equipment effectiveness, identify yield improvement opportunities, gather sponsorship and team resources, and execute on continuous improvement activities. Presence on the foundry floor is essential for quick resolution of technical issues as well as the ability to work with operations, facilities, equipment, and quality teams. Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. 
• Minimum of 2 years experience in functional management, leading a medium to large size team
• Lead and / or project management experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Active Secret security clearance. 

• Functional management experience (Managing performance, conducting reviews, mentoring, care and feeding of staff, hiring, etc).

• Cost / Schedule Management and Reporting experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills

• Customer focus and collaboration skills

• Effective presence and influential leadership capability, with the ability to interact with senior levels of leadership effectively – including customer, Raytheon Technologies teammates and suppliers

• Proven experience with software development techniques and tools, including some, or all, of the following computer languages: C and Ada

• Experience in embedded systems, real-time systems, or large-scale applications.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
