Job Overview The Cost Analyst will oversee financial operations for one or more projects, including cost accounting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
They will develop cost estimates for projects based on work scope, specifications, and contract proposals using applicable estimating methodologies and tools; and analyze project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements.
They will use benchmark data, trends, prior estimates, and historical pricing schedules to generate detailed cost estimates that consist of itemized lists of expenses, labor hours, material quantities, and potential cost variations.
They may use different estimating methods, mathematical models, or specialized estimating software tools to generate estimates depending on the complexity and type of project.
The Cost Analyst will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Responsibilities: 1.
Proposal Pricing & Compliance: a.
Lead the cost volume development for proposals (DoD, Prime Contractors).
b.
Prepare detailed cost models and pricing strategies compliant with FAR and CAS.
c.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Program Management) to gather input and validate cost assumptions.
d.
Interface with government auditors and DCAA representatives as needed.
e.
Ensure adequate documentation and audit readiness of all cost proposals and estimates.
2.
Financial Planning & Analysis: a.
Develop cost and margin forecasts in support of quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting processes.
b.
Provide cost data to support make/buy decisions and capital investment evaluations.
c.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in operations and procurement.
3.
Internal Controls & Systems: a.
Support system improvements and automation of cost and pricing functions (ERP integration, pricing tools).
b.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures related to cost accounting and pricing.
Qualifications: 1.
Education & Experience: a.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR Associate's Degree and equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience.
b.
Minimum 3 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
c.
Minimum 3 years of experience developing federal proposal pricing or similar experience (DoD experience strongly preferred).
d.
Experience with FAR, DFARS, and CAS compliance preferred.
2.
Skills & Competencies: a.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory systems, and cost drivers.
b.
Proficiency in cost modeling, pricing tools, and ERP systems (preferably JobBOSS, Infor Visual, Epicore, or similar).
c.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
d.
Experience with Cost Estimation, Material Requirements Planning, Project Estimation, and Requirements Analysis.
e.
Basic understanding of cost estimation methodologies f.
Knowledge of statistical analysis or data analytics tools.

Ability to interpret and analyze financial data, budgets, and historical cost data.

Strong grasp of basic mathematics, including algebra and statistics, for cost calculations and projections.

Position Summary
The Product Compliance Manager serves as the subject matter expert for all aspects of product compliance. In this role, “compliance” covers the entire commercialization process — from raw material sourcing and supplier management to product delivery and customer satisfaction.
The position ensures that all products meet applicable regulations, standards, and customer requirements through each stage of the product life cycle. This includes material testing, product onboarding, labeling, claims, quality assurance, shipping, and supply chain verification. The individual will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Quality, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to maintain full compliance throughout production.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
Interpret and apply customer-specific requirements along with relevant state, federal, and international regulations.
Ensure compliance with applicable product safety and environmental standards, including but not limited to:

State Regulation Compliance
Manage required registrations and variances across multiple U.S. states.
Oversee compliance for mattress, bedding, and upholstered product stewardship programs.
Customer Standards
Understand major retailer and private-label testing protocols (e.g., Walmart, Costco, Amazon, IKEA, Target, Kohl’s).
Translate customer requirements into internal testing and quality plans.
Align internal standards with customer expectations and support continuous improvement in compliance processes.
Investigate and resolve product complaints, warranty claims, and recalls as necessary.
Testing & Lab Coordination
Partner with accredited labs to conduct required product and material tests.
Review test methods and results, perform root cause analyses, and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure upstream suppliers adhere to compliance guidelines from the start of production.
Documentation & Reporting
Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including product test plans, pre-production checks, and validation reports.
Manage compliance tracking tools and summarize testing status and results.
Verify all product specifications and tolerances meet internal and customer requirements.
Audits & Quality Assurance
Conduct periodic audits across the supply chain to ensure ongoing compliance.
Review sampling, inspections, and quality checkpoints to confirm adherence to regulatory and customer standards.
Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Logistics teams to resolve any audit findings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the compliance resource for all departments, confirming requirements for labeling, artwork, product claims, and certifications.
Provide required documentation such as Certificates of Analysis (COA), Letters of Guarantee (LoG), and General Certificates of Conformity (GCC).
Lead product risk assessments (PFMEA) and establish control plans to minimize risk.
Review and approve product marketing materials and advertisements to ensure regulatory accuracy.
Translate customer care or washing instructions into internal standards for consistency across products.
Additional Duties
Maintain compliance documentation using company systems.
Participate in special projects or continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of product compliance or related experience.
Strong understanding of regulatory processes and product safety standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation management tools.

The Opportunity
- Seeking Board Certified Neurology physicians.
- Ideally fellowship trained in Neurophysiology, Epilepsy, or Neuro-Muscular.
- Interested in or have experience with reading EEG’s.
- 8- and 9-hour tele rounding/EEG shifts.
- Provider can work tele rounding only if they don’t want to read EEG’s.
- 7 on/7 off model (14 shifts per month).
- Must have a CA license and be willing to apply for a Washington medical license.
