CVCT ICU nurses provide highly specialized care for patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions, including cardiac and thoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and advanced medical management of cardiovascular disease.
Advanced therapies and interventions include ECMO, CRRT, mechanical circulatory devices (VADs), and care for patients with CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysms and dissections, post-MI and STEMI (including targeted temperature management), cardiogenic shock, sepsis, acute renal failure, and respiratory failure.

Collaborate across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive educational programs supporting critical care nursing practice.
Participate in system-wide initiatives, new nurse orientation, and organization-wide competency-based education, partnering with leadership, CNSs, nurse residency educators, and fellow NESs.
Bring your clinical expertise; three (3) years of ICU nursing experience and nursing education experience are highly preferred.
Pay: Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.
