This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects, including Veterans Affairs Projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer (PE) with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities: 1.

Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery, with a focus on low voltage systems.

2.

Applying knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure all designs and installations comply with the necessary regulations.

3.

Using Revit and AutoCAD software to create detailed electrical designs and circuit designs.

4.

Collaborating with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and develop appropriate electrical designs.

5.

Participating in project meetings and providing technical support to team members and clients.

Qualifications: 1.

A Professional Engineer (PE) license.

2.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

3.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on low voltage systems and commercial projects.

4.

Experience with hospital and federal projects.

5.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other electrical design software.

6.

- + As an Electrical Engineer (PE), you’ll play a key role in both design and project management, including: + Designing power distribution, lighting (interior/exterior), standby power systems, surge, and lightning protection.

+ Leading and coordinating project teams across multiple disciplines.

+ Managing project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

+ Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and specifications.

+ Overseeing site visits and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.

+ Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida, or ability to obtain within one year (if licensed in another state).

Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.

Performs job site inspections and is responsible for thorough and competent field installations that meets the plans and specifications.

Completes project “punch list” and assists in resolving any conflicts between owner and contractor.

Mentor Engineering Designers I and II.

Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design.

Respond to RFI’s and submittals.

What We’re Looking For Education: A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 6 years of experience is required.

EIT preferable.

OR An associate degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in the design of HVAC and/or Plumbing systems under the supervision of a Professional Engineer required.

OR 8-10 years of practical experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing fields is preferred but not required.

Strong knowledge of electrical and building codes.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
