The Role – Bunker & Marine Fuels Trading
As a Senior Bunker Trader, you will:
- Manage and grow a back-to-back marine fuels trading portfolio across North America and international markets
- Promote and leverage the firm's physical supply locations in strategic ports
- Trade products including Fuel Oil, Gas Oil (MGO), LSFO and alternative marine fuels
- Service shipowners, operators, charterers and trading houses across tanker, dry bulk and commercial fleets
- Respond to enquiries and execute trades efficiently across spot and term business
- Collaborate with the Head of Trading to identify new markets and growth opportunities
- Monitor global bunker pricing, port dynamics and supply trends to optimise trading decisions
- Utilise pricing, hedging and risk management tools to support margin protection

Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard global dietary supplement and personal care co-manufacturers that meet cost, quality, capacity, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure reliable, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials in partnership with internal Innovation and Operations teams, as well as external co-manufacturer procurement teams.
- Build and maintain a structured supplier base for ingredients and materials, segmented by form, category, geography, and criticality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align sourcing decisions with cost, compliance, and commercialization objectives.
- Negotiation & Margin Expansion
- Lead supplier negotiations across pricing, lead times, MOQs, and capacity commitments.
- Negotiate purchasing agreements to ensure supply continuity at optimal cost.
- Conduct SKU-level and portfolio-level COGS analysis to identify and deliver sustainable margin improvement opportunities.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through price renegotiation, alternate supplier qualification, and contract optimization.
- Support co-manufacturer procurement teams in securing competitive pricing for raw and packaging materials.
- Partner with Finance to track realized savings and overall P&L impact.
- Supplier Performance & Risk
- Manage supplier performance across cost, service levels, lead times, and supply reliability.
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans, including secondary sourcing and capacity diversification.
- Lead regular supplier business reviews and report performance and savings to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain with direct exposure to nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or consumer health.
- Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing.
- Comfortable with defining scope, objectives and charting path forward in a role that is new to the company.
- Strong financial acumen with ability to connect sourcing strategies to P&L impact. Demonstrates ability to measure and monitor performance.
- Working knowledge of cGMP as it relates to dietary supplements and cosmetics (OTC & cosmetic) including supplier qualification and compliance considerations.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards for supplements (FDA, Prop 65, Health Canada).
- Awareness of US importation requirements such as FSVP.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Coordination & Execution
- Support the digital delivery of large industrial and E&I projects from concept through closeout.
- Coordinate BIM workflows and model setup using Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks and Revizto.
- Manage model hosting, collaboration, and deliverables using the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform.
- Conduct model quality checks, assist with digital turnover, and encode asset data for project closeout.
- Work with laser scans and point clouds to validate field conditions and produce accurate as-built models.
Process & Innovation
- Implement and maintain digital standards and workflows that align with The Newtron Group’s Project Controls systems.
- Identify and develop process improvements that enhance data integrity, model usability, and reporting accuracy.
- Expand the use of point cloud and scan data for layout, prefabrication, and progress tracking.
- Stay informed on emerging BIM/VDC technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Support
- Act as a liaison between engineering, project management, and field operations to ensure accurate coordination and model use.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM and coordination tools.
- Collaborate with vendors, design partners, and subcontractors to ensure model alignment and consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in BIM coordination, VDC, or digital delivery within industrial or commercial construction.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Familiarity with industrial electrical and instrumentation workflows.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with laser scanning, point cloud processing, or asset data management.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D or Plant 3D for industrial applications.
- Professional certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional, LEED, or PE license (a plus).

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare complete, accurate, and timely estimates for all quote/bid opportunities.
- Develop and submit formal proposals for TxDOT, NTTA, and various municipal entities.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and DOT standards.
- Create detailed pricing estimates based on historical data and industry standards.
- Identify and document any deviations or clarifications from bid requests.
- Track bid status and maintain records of bid/award performance.
- Communicate estimates and pricing details clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and price change orders.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop purchase orders in support of project bids.
- Maintain and grow technical knowledge through workshops and ongoing training.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- TxDOT experience required.
- Familiarity with Traffic Signals & ITS Installations, Large Roadway Signs, Illumination & Electrical work.

Education & Experience
