- Central Texas VAMC The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) is a Joint Commission accredited, complexity level 1-A facility serving Veterans in 39 counties in Central Texas.
In fiscal year (FY) 2020, CTVHCS treated 108,659 Veteran unique patients and recorded 6,660 inpatient admissions.
Outpatient workload totaled 1,218,648 visits.
CTVHCS collaborates with Fort Hood, the largest military base in the world with the biggest troop commitment to Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn (OEF/OIF/OND).
CTVHCS provides transitional medical services and conducts PTSD and traumatic brain injury (TBI) research the signature illnesses of these conflicts.
Opened in November 2014, is a 16-bed Joint VA/DoD Central Texas Sleep Clinic in Killeen jointly operated by CTVHCS and Carl R.
Darnall Army Medical Center.
Location: 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple TX 76054 Requirements (duties include, but are not limited to) Evaluation, treatment and management of minor wound care, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal illness, burns that do not require specialty care, musculoskeletal trauma, dermatological illness, basic ENT evaluation that are within the purview of family medicine/family practice physician, eye and urological problems.
Evaluation, treatment and management of minor procedures such as local infiltration anesthesia, incision and drainage, simple laceration repair, nail trephination, electro-coagulation, nasal cautery, gastric lavage, bladder catheterization, peripheral venous line insertion, and spinal immobilization.
Evaluation, treatment and management of abdominal and gastrointestinal disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel and colon rectum and anus, liver and biliary tree and pancreas.
Evaluation, treatment and management of cardiovascular disorders involving cardiac failure, differential diagnosis of chest pain, cardiac structural disorders, cardiac rhythm and conduction defects, pericardial disorders, disease of peripheral arteries and veins, shock, and cutaneous disorders.
Evaluation, treatment and management of end of life care (Advanced directives/ Palliative care) Evaluation, treatment and management of emergent disorders caused by antigens, organisms and other foreign substances such as reactions of hypersensitivity; reactions from venoms, bites and stings; reactions caused by infectious agents; disorders due to chemical, drug and physical agents; and disorders associated with the environment to include barotraumas, near drowning, electrical injury, hypothermia and radiation injury.
Evaluation, treatment and management of emergent disorders of the hematopoietic system such as anemia, coagulopathy and management of acute neoplastic disease complication.
Evaluation, treatment and management of emergent disorders of endocrine, metabolic and nutritional natures relating to acid-base disturbances, adrenal, parathyroid and thyroid disturbances.
Evaluation, emergent treatment and management of emergent disorders of the head and neck involving the ears, nose, oral cavity, larynx/trachea, face and vestibular system.
Evaluation, treatment and management of post-emergent disorders of the eye involving the lids and lachrymal apparatus conjunctiva, cornea, sclera.
Evaluation, treatment and management of post-emergent disorders of the musculoskeletal system involving shoulder girdle, upper extremity and hand, lower extremity and foot, thorax and vertebrae and arthopathies.
Evaluation, treatment and management of post-emergent disorders (including trauma) of the nervous system including cerebral edema, coma, cranial nerve disease, cerebro-vascular disease and infection.
Evaluation, treatment and management of post-emergent respiratory disorders including pulmonary, infection, trauma, neoplasia, metabolic and complications of cardiovascular disease.
Initial evaluation, treatment and management of renal and urologic disorders including acute/chronic renal failure, infections, obstructive uropathy and hematuria and trauma.
Evaluation, treatment and management of OB/GYN disorders such as pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and infection.
Suture minor lacerations.
Qualifications Must have graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) program to include an Internal Medicine residency program.
Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or U.S.
Virgin Islands.
Possess and maintain at all times a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.

About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and promoting MWR’s full line of general construction equipment rentals. You will represent MWR as the primary point of contact for customers and understanding their needs, recommending equipment solutions, and ensuring they receive exceptional service from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow rental revenue and market share
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to identify opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers
- Maintain a consistent schedule of customer outreach, including cold calls, follow-ups, and onsite visits
- Promote MWR’s fleet offerings by understanding customer needs and pairing them with the correct equipment solutions
- Collaborate with branch operations teams to ensure accurate reservations, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer experiences
- Manage a defined book of business while continuously prospecting new accounts which will be a mix of jobsite and office calls in an assigned territory
- Support the credit/collections process by helping to maintain healthy AR practices in your territory

Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial services, or a closely related field (REQUIRED)
- Strong understanding of general construction equipment and jobsite workflows
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a territory
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, consistent follow up
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Must be comfortable spending significant time on jobsites and meeting customers face-to-face
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
