Heavy Civil Estimator

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the success and profitability of projects by providing accurate, timely, and complete estimates. The Estimator will be responsible for calculating the cost of a broad range of projects. The goal is to provide accurate information to help in operations and strategic planning, perform quantity takeoff s, produce proposals, and prepare cost estimates.

● Perform quantity take off s/reach out to potential subcontractors

● Analyze and compile estimate data that impact the cost of labor, materials, equipment requirements, location, and other factors to ensure a high-quality and timely estimate.

● Accurately prepares estimates. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope. Determines the required contents of estimates and evaluates historical data to project man-hour data.

• Produce budgets from conceptual and schematic design phases that align with the organization's goals and strategy • Review drawings, specifications, and proposed project site conditions; record findings and solicit input from field operations to include in the final project estimate.

● Analyze alternative solutions and construction methods to increase the competitiveness of the bid.

● Apply mathematical calculations requiring advanced analytical processes to ensure logically estimated costs are accurate.

● Present estimate content in bid reviews with senior management to ensure accuracy and completeness. ● Communicate with owners, subcontractors, and public and private entities to ensure competitiveness.

● Develop and maintain business relationships to increase bid opportunities in the regional market.

● Participate in and lead discussions, catalyzing creative thinking and innovative ideas, and distinguishing a successful estimate.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

● 5+ years’ experience in heavy civil construction, emphasizing underground utilities, sewer/stormwater pump stations, WWTP/WTP work, heavy highway, bridges/concrete structures, and commercial/residential site work arena.

● Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid

● Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills.

● Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

● Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles ● Advanced knowledge of construction principles and equipment capabilities

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Specific Job Requirements:

● Knowledge of project management software and estimating software.

As a Sr. Master Scheduler / Buyer at Reliable Robotics, you'll play a critical role in building relationships with key industry partners/suppliers, driving supplier execution for safety-critical systems, and continuously improving our supply chain processes. You will be part of the Production organization, a growing team of highly motivated professionals passionate about delivering high-quality products and services on time, with unquestionable quality. You will have hands-on responsibility for managing end-to-end supply chain activities, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), supplier relationship management, procurement, inventory management, and kitting. You will also mitigate supply risks, resolve procurement discrepancies, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while acting as the liaison between engineering, quality, and manufacturing. Responsibilities

• Lead MRP master scheduling for non-recurring engineering, formal engineering development, certification, and production projects, including conducting capacity analyses to mitigate short and long-term schedule risks, identify systemic issues, resolve shortages, and develop strategies to enable a healthy supply chain

• Ensure predictable and uninterrupted supply by analyzing MRP messages, managing master data, bill of materials (BOMs), inventory replenishment strategies, and expediting deliveries with suppliers

• Develop and implement strategies to drive supplier selection, qualification, commercial negotiations, contract development, and administration

• Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis, including business/financial, capabilities, capacity, quality, throughput, technical capability, and risk assessments

• In your role as a Mission Systems Engineer you will contribute to the development of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems in a dynamic start-up work environment

• Define and document mission-related aspects of future aircraft operation using insight from a pilot's perspective

• Define and communicate strategies and plans for type certification and operational approval

• Develop training and support documents needed to deploy autonomous systems in an operational environment

As a Radar Systems Engineer, you will be a part of our Radar Engineering team. The Radar Engineering team is comprised of a small cross functional team of motivated and experienced engineers; we're responsible for designing, building, and testing cutting edge phased array radar systems from concept to certified product. Phased array radar systems have historically been reserved for specialized applications, but we're making this technology affordable to enable Detect and Avoid for widespread commercial applications. Responsibilities

In your role as a Radar Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing phased array radar systems and developing radar processing algorithms to enable short, long range object tracking, and radar image generation. You will be involved in all phases of development from conception to production, designing your algorithms in Matlab, Python, and implementation in C++ on the target hardware. You will drive the system-level requirements of the phased array radar system, and drive trade studies collaborating with the cross functional teams. You will support the integration of the radar on the aircraft and support data collection and analysis during flight testing. You will be the owner of real-time processing of radar algorithms on an FPGA, DSP-based platform.

Basic Success Criteria

• Electrical Engineering fundamentals, typically gained through a Bachelor's Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or a related discipline

• 8+ years of professional hands-on experience with Radar algorithms, radar system design, radar signal processing, integration, and test of a radar system

• Ability to use C++, Matlab and Python (Python preferred)

• Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues

• Pulsed and FMCW processing algorithm development

• Experience in airborne radar testing and development

The Role 

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Commercial Operations & Events Manager to become the operational backbone of our commercialization team. 

You will report directly to our Head of Partnerships and will also work actively with the VP of Commercialization and Brand Manager, helping turn ideas into execution — coordinating events, shipments, communications, and schedules so the team can focus on building relationships and growing the business. This position is primarily centered on events and logistics management (approximately 75%), with the remaining time dedicated to executive support functions. 

This role is ideal for someone who loves making complex things run smoothly and wants meaningful exposure to strategy, partnerships, and startup execution. 

No two weeks look the same: one day coordinating a partner tasting, another organizing sample logistics, preparing materials for an executive meeting, or helping bring a high-profile dinner to life. 

What You’ll Do 

Bring Experiences to Life 

• Coordinate tastings, dinners, demos, and industry events. Note: our more involved tastings will include collaboration with a Culinary / Demo Chef. 
• Manage logistics, timelines, materials, and execution details

• Lead on-site setup and execution for San Francisco-based events, including the presentation of our food products 

Own Samples & Logistics 

• Coordinate preparation and shipment of customer samples

Practical Details

As a MEMS Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the setup, execution, and continuous improvement of our MEMS and flowcell production processes. You will play a hands-on role in building the lab infrastructure, installing and qualifying new equipment, and ensuring high product quality in a cleanroom environment.

This is a contract position through an external agency with the potential to transition to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Perform daily cleanroom manufacturing processes including wet processing, resist coating, chemical vapor deposition, mechanical assembly, and visual inspections using high-powered microscopes (bright field/dark field).
• Support installation and qualification of new equipment, fixtures, and tools, coordinating with Facilities and Engineering.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Revise and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), preventive maintenance schedules, and process documentation.
• Set up efficient workstations and workflows to ensure smooth production.
• Collect process data and apply SPC principles to monitor and control yield and performance.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in cleanroom and GMP best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of project delivery from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with Flint’s constructability and BIM standards, client expectations, and financial goals.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the coordination of architectural, engineering, and construction processes; provide strategic guidance across all phases of design-build execution.
• Oversee and manage detailed project schedules, deliverables, and budgets; ensure key milestones are met and proactively identify and resolve risks or roadblocks.
• Facilitate and lead high-level project meetings, including design charrettes, owner presentations, technical coordination sessions, and internal strategy meetings; set clear agendas, drive outcomes, and ensure accountability.
• Oversee engagement with school districts, local jurisdictions, city planning departments, and permitting agencies to streamline submittals, revisions, and approvals.
• Provide executive-level oversight of design documentation including contracts, narratives, scopes of work, and change documentation to ensure clarity, alignment, and quality.
• Drive proposal development, fee structuring, and project scoping in close coordination with other architects, estimating, preconstruction, and executive teams.
• Direct and manage BIM execution strategies in collaboration with VDC staff; ensure accurate modeling, clash detection, and seamless transition to construction documentation.
• Ensure all project documentation meets both regulatory and constructability standards; provide quality control oversight and technical reviews as needed.
• Resolve design and construction coordination challenges swiftly and decisively; escalate issues only when necessary and act as the primary point of accountability.
• Provide high-level mentorship and leadership to project architects, designers, and support staff; foster a proactive, solutions-driven culture focused on excellence, growth, and results.

Job Requirements, Qualifications, Characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect
• 10+ years of architectural project management experience with a strong understanding of design development, construction documentation, drawings and specifications, and coordination in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• High proficiency in Revit is required; experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and other design and construction-related platforms is strongly preferred.
• Familiar with Adobe Creative suite, Lumion, Enscape, Autodesk construction cloud. Modeling/drafting software such as Sketchup and AutoCAD.
• Proficient is 3D modeling & coordination tools such as ACC and Revizto.
• Having education/ DSA and public project coordination is a must.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills, with proven success managing interdisciplinary teams and fostering collaboration between design, preconstruction, and field teams.

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be a part of our Vehicle Design and Integration team. Your work will help bring together mechanical, electrical, navigation, control, and safety requirements to produce complex electrical systems that are key to the success of our efforts to automate aviation. You'll collaborate with a broad set of teams to develop a system architecture and incorporate requirements across the hardware/software stack.

Responsibilities

In your role as an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for refining and implementing our Avionics system architecture and driving its physical implementation. You will drive the system-level design, testing, and integration of avionics hardware, including computing, sensing, actuation, communication, power, and display systems. You will work across engineering teams and will implement an electrical system design that meets system-level and certification requirements. You will be the owner of multiple components (IMUs, air data computers, batteries) and will be responsible for how they are installed in the aircraft, verified, and certified at the aircraft level.

Basic Success Criteria

• Electrical Engineering fundamentals, typically gained through a Bachelor's Degree of Science or Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related discipline

• Hands-on experience with electrical system development, integration, or testing

• Ability to work within a team, including strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues in a safety critical environment

As a Senior Flight Navigation Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be part of the Guidance, Navigation and Control Team. You will contribute to the navigation system design, implementation, and testing, and your work will enable the integration of uncrewed aircraft into the National Airspace System.

Responsibilities

• Define navigation system requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

• Analyze, source, and select sensor solutions for use in the navigation system

• Develop sensor models in simulation for evaluation of the navigation system

• Implement state estimation algorithms in flight software

• Establish test methods to ensure compliance with requirements, best practices, and regulatory standards

• Evaluate the navigation system performance via simulation, hardware-in-loop, and flight test cases

Basic Success Criteria

• MS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar advanced degree

• Technical expertise in one of the following areas: Kalman filtering; GNSS navigation; inertial navigation; or alternative navigation technologies

• 8+ years of professional experience developing and testing navigation algorithms

• Professional experience with developing C/C++ flight software and Python data reduction & analysis

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
