Atlas Cup is building the world’s first professional orbital racing league — creating a new category of sport at the intersection of spaceflight, AI, and global media.

We are hiring a small cohort of interns to work directly alongside our leadership team on the foundational challenges of building a new sport from scratch. Interns at Atlas Cup contribute to real projects across partnerships, marketing, legal, and policy — helping shape how competition in space is defined, structured, and brought to the world.

General Summary

As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering group at Penumbra, you will be called upon to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions. You will provide manufacturing technology and robust solutions aimed at commercializing new products and continuously improving production processes. Position Qualifications

Minimum education and experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or related degree with 2+ years relevant engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Additional qualifications:

•Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment recommended, medical device industry preferred

•Experience in troubleshooting and working with electromechanical devices

•Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required

•Knowledge of FDA regulations, Lean/Flow Manufacturing, and/or materials and manufacturing processes desired

We’re building a next-generation generative AI platform purpose-built for healthcare — and we’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to help architect and scale it from the ground up.

This is not a “manage from a distance” role.
