Skills and Experience Broad knowledge of water/wastewater design processes and technologies including permitting with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Division of Drinking Water of the State Water Resources Control Board.
Self-motivated, technically competent, client- and solution-focused individual.
Able to be self-directing and self-starting.
Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills, including interpretation of complex technical and regulatory language and preparation of technical reports and documents addressing complex regulatory subjects.
Aptitude and hands-on experience with computer applications used in Water/Wastewater Engineering, such as WaterCAD or similar modeling software, treatment process calculations and modeling, and Microsoft Office suite, etc.
Experience developing and providing quality assurance reviews for construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, and technical reports and studies.
Demonstrated ability to make and communicate sound decisions regarding complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to gather, organize and analyze engineering data, and make comprehensive reports.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

BS Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field, with MS or higher degree preferred 5 or more years experience as a PE with increasing levels of responsibility / responsible charge.

- Develop and tune SIEM correlation rules, alerts, and integrated SOAR workflows to detect and respond to threats.
- Serve as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding rapidly to incidents and escalations as they arise, including after-hours and weekends.
- Ensure incident handling and SOAR-driven automation align with HIPAA and all relevant regulations; participate in incident debriefs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Purpose of the Job
