The Opportunity

This Investments Accounting Associate role is a newly created position that will be a key addition to our Investment Controllership team within the Controllers organization.  The position reports to the Director of Securities Accounting and Controllership and resides within the Financial Controllership team, a critical team within the Controllers Organization which aspires to be best in class financial stewards for MassMutual. As an Accounting Associate in our Investments Accounting area, you will be a key contributor on the team that manages and executes investment accounting and analysis, including oversight of financial reporting outcomes of all MassMutual investment products. The Team

As a member of the Financial Controllership Team, the incumbent will be involved in shaping the future of the organization, supporting both the on-going growth and analysis within the Investment Controllership team and other key initiatives.

  • Analyze financial reports and investment data for trends and impacts to investment values and P&L activity.

  • Participating in problem solving to improve quality, cycle times, and increase efficiencies.

  • Makes recommendations to continuously improve the overall control environment of the Securities team.

  • Participate in the research and implementation of new statutory and GAAP investment accounting.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related major

  • At least 4 years of accounting or finance experience in a corporate environment

  • Knowledge of GAAP and STAT accounting

The Ideal Qualifications

  • CPA or CFA progress towards preferred

  • Knowledge and experience of investments

  • Prior exposure to investments, investment accounting, subsidiary ledger processing and related investment matters a plus!

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze financial data sets and tell the story of the data.

  • Experience in identifying internal control issues and remediation efforts

  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas and articulate in an organized and persuasive manner

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities for multifamily residential and mixed-use development projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with quality standards. You will be managing large-scale projects ranging from $50 million to $100 million and collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
General Project Oversight

* Partner with the Project Manager during preconstruction to coordinate jobsite setup, scheduling, and change management
* Lead all on-site activities, ensuring work is performed safely, meets quality expectations, and aligns with project scope and timeline
* Identify root causes of delays, quality issues, or safety hazards and implement solutions to mitigate risk
* Provide direction to subcontractors and hold teams accountable for performance
* Serve as the project's on-site Quality Control Manager

Planning & Scheduling

* Develop site logistics and safety plans including public safety, site security, crane and hoist locations, and truck routing
* Create and maintain labor and staffing projections for field supervision

Your key responsibilities

As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Commercial Strategy practice, you will be a vital member of the team leading and executing strategy development, transactions, and turn-arounds for our clients. You\'ll collaborate with our EY-Parthenon team members to realize improved returns for clients by identifying and unlocking value through improvements in corporate/BU strategy, go-to-market strategy (including digital), commercial operating model, and optimization of the commercial functions (sales, service, marketing, pricing), while minimizing customer disruption. You will identify, define, quantify, and realize sustainable value through revenue enhancement and cost and margin improvement tied to the commercial aspects of the clients’ business. You will also focus on business and practice development as well as developing team members to achieve their career goals.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Significant transactions (buy and/or sell side) management consulting experience.

  • Experience in the following:

  • Corporate and/or BU strategy development.

  • Commercial functions (e.g., sales, marketing, customer service, pricing).

  • Go-to-market strategy and revenue synergy design/capture for traditional, digital and hybrid commercial models.

  • Evaluation of market landscape including market size, competition, market trends and resulting commercial implications.

  • Pre-deal strategy including growth assessments (e.g. profitability assessments, clean room, etc.).

  • Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A proven record of excellence in a transactions and/or commercial strategy role.

  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization.

  • Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Job Title : Oceanography Category / Component: Officer • Both Overview Oceanography (OCEANO) Officers, also called METOC, are the Navy's geophysical experts who understand and apply all facets of meteorology, oceanography, hydrography, bathymetry, geophysics, and precise time and astrometry.

Their mission is to define and apply the physical environment, from the bottom of the ocean to the stars, to ensure the U.S.

Navy has the freedom of action to deter aggression, maintain freedom of the seas, and win wars.

Key Responsibilities Provide timely and relevant support to fleet and joint operations by leading the collection, processing, prediction, exploitation, and dissemination of environmental data.

Ensure safety of navigation, access to denied waters, freedom to maneuver at will, and increase the lethality of Navy forces.

Lead teams ranging from small 3-4 person deployable units to large commands of over 400 personnel.

Serve as the one-of-one geophysical expert at an operational command.

What to Expect Serve in a variety of challenging operational billets with increasing scope and responsibility, both at sea and ashore.

The career path interweaves sea, shore, and educational tours.

Sea duty may include leading small team detachments on U.S.

and foreign vessels, serving as the embarked OCEANO Officer on an aircraft carrier or amphibious ship, or serving on a Strike Group or Joint Task Force staff.
