POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Construction Hard Bid Estimator to join our Estimating Department. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Review bid invitations, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure full scope coverage.
• Prepare and assemble bid forms, alternates, clarifications, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate bid reviews and ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and on time.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and handoff meetings with the Project Management team.
• Support value engineering efforts and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial hard bid estimating or lump-sum project environments.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff, RSMeans, or similar estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of CSI divisions, construction means and methods, and current market pricing.

This role will manage all aspects of the supply chain including planning, purchasing, distribution, and inventory management to ensure sales continuity in The Americas Region. Additionally, this role will oversee operations at Himalaya’s facility in Sugar Land and any outsourced partners. The Director of Supply Chain & Operations will report to the VP of Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the overall supply chain and operations strategy.
• Develop and implement an effective strategic supply chain plan.
• De-risk potential supply shortages and identify and validate secondary source vendors.
• Manage demand planning to ensure healthy inventory levels across all geographies.
• Manage relationships with retail distribution centers globally to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of all retail POs.
• Monitor Amazon and other e-commerce fulfillment performance to ensure all orders are shipped on time, in full, and within desired service levels.
• Provide input and intelligence on ingredient sourcing in collaboration with Manufacturing and Procurement.
• Support innovation by introducing new and innovative raw material opportunities.
• Analyze operational data and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain.
• Manage priorities across teams to ensure successful and timely execution.
• Ensure US market compliance with Federal and State laws including DSHEA and California Prop 65.

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
• Detailed knowledge of planning, purchasing, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Demonstrated success in complex and ambiguous business environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard global dietary supplement and personal care co-manufacturers that meet cost, quality, capacity, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure reliable, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials in partnership with internal Innovation and Operations teams, as well as external co-manufacturer procurement teams.
• Build and maintain a structured supplier base for ingredients and materials, segmented by form, category, geography, and criticality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align sourcing decisions with cost, compliance, and commercialization objectives.
• Negotiation & Margin Expansion
• Lead supplier negotiations across pricing, lead times, MOQs, and capacity commitments.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements to ensure supply continuity at optimal cost.
• Conduct SKU-level and portfolio-level COGS analysis to identify and deliver sustainable margin improvement opportunities.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through price renegotiation, alternate supplier qualification, and contract optimization.
• Support co-manufacturer procurement teams in securing competitive pricing for raw and packaging materials.
• Partner with Finance to track realized savings and overall P&L impact.
• Supplier Performance & Risk
• Manage supplier performance across cost, service levels, lead times, and supply reliability.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans, including secondary sourcing and capacity diversification.
• Lead regular supplier business reviews and report performance and savings to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain with direct exposure to nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or consumer health.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing.
• Comfortable with defining scope, objectives and charting path forward in a role that is new to the company.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to connect sourcing strategies to P&L impact. Demonstrates ability to measure and monitor performance.
• Working knowledge of cGMP as it relates to dietary supplements and cosmetics (OTC & cosmetic) including supplier qualification and compliance considerations.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards for supplements (FDA, Prop 65, Health Canada).
• Awareness of US importation requirements such as FSVP.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Role Description

The US Training Manager is responsible for designing and leading a structured training and development program for hourly and production team members across U.S. operations. This role focuses on creating a strong 30-60-90 day onboarding experience and building sustainable cross-training programs that improve retention, workforce flexibility, safety, and product quality.

This leader partners closely with Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, HR, and Safety to ensure employees are trained, confident, and capable of performing multiple roles that support operational continuity and customer delivery.

• Design and standardize a 30-60-90 day onboarding program for all hourly/production roles
• Ensure new hires receive consistent training on safety, quality, and operational expectations
• Develop onboarding checklists, job training guides, and leader tools
• Partner with site leaders to ensure onboarding is executed with consistency and accountability
• Measure and improve new hire retention and early performance indicators

Cross-Training & Workforce Flexibility

• Develop cross-training matrices for key production roles at each site
• Create structured cross-training pathways that enable workforce flexibility
• Support sites in identifying skill gaps and building bench strength
• Establish certification and skill validation processes for hourly team members
• Partner with operations to reduce single-point dependency on roles

Training Program Development

• Build and maintain role-based training materials and job instruction guides
• Standardize training content while allowing for site-specific needs
• Implement train-the-trainer capability at each site
• Leverage visual, hands-on, and practical training methods appropriate for production teams

Safety, Quality, and Operational Alignment

• Integrate safety and quality expectations into all training programs
• Partner with Safety and Quality leaders to reinforce safe work practices
• Ensure training supports operational KPIs and customer delivery needs

Retention & Engagement

• Use training as a tool to improve retention and employee engagement
• Create development pathways for hourly employees to grow skills and opportunities
