A PE-backed manufacturer of electrical distribution and controls equipment is seeking multiple Project Managers to join its operations team on-site in Addison, Illinois.
*This role does not require electrical product knowledge, but rather, experience operating in a fast paced, factory environment, managing a high-volume of Made-To-Order projects while working closely with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple customer orders from project kickoff through delivery
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams including engineering, operations, and supply chain
- Coordinate project timelines, material availability, and manufacturing schedule to ensure on-time delivery
- Track project status through internal systems and dashboards, maintaining visibility across key milestones
- Facilitate regular project reviews and proactively communicate schedule updates or changes

Manage the Quality data integrity for Medline products including but not limited to, sterile products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, cosmetics, medical foods, and dietary supplements.
Support Quality process related activities, analyzes problems related to quality/regulatory information, and provides systems, engineering and technical support in solving these problems.

Position Summary:
The Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, process development, and customer support related to industrial machinery. This role bridges engineering, sales, and service by demonstrating machine capabilities, optimizing cutting parameters, and ensuring customers achieve maximum value from their laser systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize laser cutting parameters for various metals and material thickness.
- Conduct machine demonstrations, trials, and proof of concept test for prospective customers.
- Troubleshoot cutting quality and process issues.
- Provide on-site and remote training to customers on machine operation, maintenance, and process optimization.
- Develop and document cutting process databases, application notes, and best practice guides.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites as needed
- Prepare technical documentation, cutting samples, and reports for customer presentations
- Support trade shows, open houses, and industry events with live demonstration and technical expertise
- Assist in product development by relating customer and application insights to R&D
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (Equivalent experience may be considered)
- 5+ Years of experience in laser processing, CNC machinery, or precision metal fabrication
- Hands-on experience with fiber laser products highly preferred
- Knowledge of motion controls systems, optics, and materials sciences is a plus
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Travel requirement is 25%

The anticipated salary range for this position: $116,000.00
- $174,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.

Translate transportation and logistics processes into functional and technical system requirements.
Prepare detailed BRDs, CRDs, user stories, process flows, and impact analysis documents.
Support solution design for inbound, outbound, intercompany, and returns transportation flows.
TMS Application Support & Enhancement Manage configuration changes, enhancements, and system optimizations within TMS platforms.
Support carrier onboarding, rate management, tendering, tracking, and freight settlement processes.
Provide production support for TMS applications with minimal downtime.
Analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with internal teams and vendors.
Integration & Technical Coordination Work closely with IT, middleware, and external vendors to support TMS integrations with WMS, ERP (SAP), EDI, APIs, and carrier systems (Fedex, UPS, GLS, etc) Participate in system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.
Testing & Release Management Create and execute UAT test scenarios and validate business outcomes.
Support regression testing during releases and upgrades.
Coordinate production deployments and post-deployment validations.
Stakeholder & Project Support Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
RequiredSkills / Experience: Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 8+ years of IT/Supply Chain experience with at least 3+ years in TMS analysis and integrations.
Hands-on experience with TMS platforms (Descartes TMS, Oracle OTM, Manhattan TMS, or equivalent).
Familiarity with parcel manifesting systems, carrier rating engines, routing optimization, and WMS shipping dependencies.
Strong knowledge of WMS-to-TMS integration touchpoints (order management, load planning, shipment execution, freight billing).
