- $175,000 per year A bit about us: Treasury Manager role for our client in the Manufacturing and Construction space based out of Bessemer, AL.

Position: Treasury Manager Location: Bessemer, Alabama – 5 days/week on-site (will assist with relocation if not local) Target Salary: $135-175k (depending on experience) Growth Full Benefits Job Details The Treasury Manager will play a key role in managing cash flow, banking relationships, liquidity, and financial risk.
This role ensures the efficient use of company funds, oversees short- and long-term cash forecasting, and supports strategic initiatives related to working capital optimization and financing.
The Treasury Manager will collaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and Project Management to ensure sound financial positioning and execution.
Key Responsibilities Cash Management & Forecasting •Oversee daily cash management, including cash positioning, bank reporting, and transfers.
•Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
•Optimize working capital across business units to support operational needs and growth initiatives.
Banking & Financing •Manage banking relationships and serve as the primary liaison with financial institutions.
•Support debt compliance, borrowing base certificates, and reporting requirements.
•Assist in negotiating and structuring credit facilities and other financing arrangements.
Treasury Operations •Implement and maintain treasury management systems, processes, and controls.
•Ensure compliance with internal policies, loan covenants, and applicable regulations.
•Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate cash and debt reporting.
Risk Management •Monitor liquidity risk, interest rate exposure, and counterparty risk.
•Recommend strategies to mitigate financial risks and improve returns on idle cash.
Strategic Initiatives •Provide treasury input for major projects, capital investments, and M&A activities.
•Support continuous improvement in financial planning, modeling, and decision support.
Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
5–7 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries preferred.
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation or MBA is a plus.
Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Proficiency with treasury systems and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
