The Role
This is a high-impact role for a technically grounded Project Manager who wants to be at the center of a rapidly scaling operation. You'll serve as the primary liaison for complex, engineered-to-order projects, bridging the gap between customers, engineering design, manufacturing, and final delivery. Reporting to the Project Manager Supervisor, you'll ensure every customer project is executed to order, on time, and within budget.
Primary Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Plan and direct all activities for designated engineering projects, ensuring goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and quality standards.
- Technical Interpretation: Evaluate customer specifications and drawings to create accurate bills of materials (BOM).
- Design & Submittal Review: Review engineering submittals for technical and contractual accuracy and oversee the initial design of electrical distribution equipment.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate daily with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to move projects through the production lifecycle.
- Customer Advocacy: Provide direct post-sales support, managing change orders, resolving site-level challenges, and coordinating final deliveries.
Who We’re Looking For
Must Have:
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience within the power distribution technology sector, ideally with low- or medium-voltage switchgear, UL 891 switchboards, UL 67 panelboards, circuit breakers, transfer switches, PDUs, etc.
- Technical Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Compliance Mastery: Working knowledge of relevant UL standards (UL891, UL1558, UL67, UL50 or UL50E).
- PMP Preferred, not required

Why join us? 401(k) with Generous Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Collaborative Work Environment: Cross-functional leadership exposure across plant operations, engineering, and supply chain Career Growth: Opportunity to lead capital projects and drive plant-wide performance improvements Safety-Focused Culture Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Supervise and direct maintenance personnel, assign workload, and provide performance feedback Plan and optimize maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime, yields, and cost efficiency Coordinate outside service vendors, manage purchase orders, and control maintenance budgets Support and assist major engineering and capital projects (planning, design, installation, startup) Develop and track maintenance KPIs and department performance metrics Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory standards Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs Utilize CMMS to manage work orders from planning through completion Perform troubleshooting and repair of pumps, valves, sensors, actuators, and control systems Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs Support breakdown analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain maintenance documentation and equipment libraries Ensure adherence to LOTO and safety protocols Qualifications – Needed High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience Maintenance leadership experience preferred Minimum 2 years of maintenance planning experience preferred Strong background in industrial plant maintenance within food or regulated manufacturing Experience with preventive & predictive maintenance programs Proficiency using CMMS systems Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge (AC/DC) Experience diagnosing and repairing pneumatic systems Proven ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs Experience with breakdown analysis and failure analysis Understanding of GMP, HACCP, LOTO, and 5S practices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Interested in hearing more?
