About the Role 


Gardner Skelton is looking for an experienced attorney (minimum of five years in practice) who is, first and foremost, an exceptional legal writer and editor. This role is ideal for someone who loves building persuasive arguments on the page—digging into complex records, spotting the real issues, and translating them into clear, compelling motions and memoranda of law. 


Just as important: we’re looking for someone who loves the hunt—the attorney who can research and think like nobody’s business. A core part of this position is improving the quality and consistency of the firm’s written work product. You will review and refine drafts produced by associates, provide practical feedback and guidance, and help elevate writing standards across matters and practice areas. 


You’ll work closely with partners and associates across a range of matters, supporting high-stakes work through research, strategy, and world-class drafting. While many of our writing-heavy matters involve disputes and litigation, applicants do not need a traditional “litigation-only” background—what matters most is your ability to produce outstanding written work, sharpen the work of others, and exercise great judgment under real deadlines.

What You'll Do 

  • Draft and refine persuasive written advocacy, including motions and memoranda of law (trial-level and, where applicable, appellate). 


  • Develop case themes, legal theories, and argument structure in partnership with the attorneys leading the matter. 

 

  • Conduct deep legal research, looking for the key authorities, angles, and arguments that strengthen the team’s position. 

 

  • Review, edit, and strengthen written work produced by associates (motions, memoranda of law, discovery responses, client correspondence)—improving clarity, structure, tone, and persuasion. 

 

  • Provide actionable feedback that helps attorneys improve their writing process over time (issue framing, organization, style, record support, and citations), and help ensure the team meets a consistent firm standard. 

 

  • Distill dense facts and complicated records into crisp narratives that judges (and clients) can quickly understand. 

 

  • Edit, cite-check, and ensure final work product is polished, consistent, and ready to file. 


  • Collaborate with legal staff to support efficient workflows, filing readiness, and deadline management. 

 

  • Participate in client communications and case status updates where your writing and analysis add value. 

 

  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, or other proceedings as appropriate based on the needs of the matter and your experience/interests.

THE ROLE

The role of Superintendent is to oversee, coordinate and manage all onsite construction activities, including safety, logistics, schedule, day to day trade activities, document management, meetings, compliance, completion and turnover. Managing Work Tickets / Slips & Changes

  • The Superintendent shall proactively communicate with the PM, review subcontractor exhibits and negotiate with other foreman to mitigate field tickets and slips from being generating and exposing NEI to potential unnecessary costs.
  • Superintendent shall review, and ensure that no work is being performed without authorization or at a cost that has not been approved by the PM/PX.
  • The Superintendent shall maintain documentation to supporting such extra work and distribute accordingly.

Project Documentation

  • The Superintendent shall have a working knowledge of all project documentation and will coordinate and maintain documentation and their processes timely for such reports as daily reports, record drawings, SKs, Bulletins, Submittals, SCOs, ASIs. RFIs & CORs.
  • It is expected that the record drawings capture all SKs, RFIs ASIs and Bulletins in order that the most current information is real time and readily available.
  • The Superintendent will ensure that a log and/or files are kept onsite for SKs, ASIs, RFIs, Bulletins and submittals.

Subcontractor Meetings

Project Close-Out

  • The Superintendent shall manage the project close-out process including obtaining all inspections required by all agencies (MEPS, Building, Fire Department, Health, Public Assembly).
  • The Superintendent is responsible for the completion, signoff and acceptance of the project punchlist by the Owner and Architect.

The Buyer/Planner works closely with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to help maintain optimal inventory levels throughout the Supply Chain. This position also monitors material availability, helps resolve delivery issues, and proactively expedites orders when needed to prevent operational interruptions. Key Task:

Procurement (Buyer) Responsibilities

  • Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective delivery of materials
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers to support cost savings and performance improvement
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Work with supplier transport, internal teams, and logistics providers to move product in the most cost-effective manner

Planning & Inventory Management Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels that meet customer demand and production schedules
  • Monitor inventory and demand signals, proactively addressing material shortages, delays, or excess stock situations
  • Review material shortages and adjust planning parameters (ex: lead times, safety stock) to ensure product availability and uninterrupted flow of product.

The Candidate:

You will have a strong understanding of IT support and service desk practices, including incident management, user support, and IT asset provisioning. Experience supporting enterprise applications such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), Office 365, and collaboration tools is essential, along with proficiency in ITSM platforms like TOPdesk, ServiceNow, or JIRA. Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments and experience supporting users across multiple time zones is highly desirable.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, escalate complex problems, and resolve incidents efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical for collaborating with internal IT teams, vendors, and a global user base. You will also need solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple support requests and meet service level agreements (SLAs).

A proactive attitude, ownership, and accountability are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional global team.   • Proven experience as a Buyer/Planner in distribution, or similar role in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments, balancing both procurement strategy and inventory planning
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement workflows and demand/supply planning principles to ensure material availability and optimal stock levels.
  • Skilled in managing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and material management software, preferably Microsoft D365 to support forecasting, purchasing, and inventory accuracy
  • Proficiency in analyzing demand trends, supplier performance, and inventory data and make informed purchasing decisions and support continuous planning improvements.
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with suppliers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams & suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing supply chain disruptions.
