Job Summary:

Neurosurgical team in Riverside, California is seeking a PA or NP to join a busy and growing practice Qualified Candidates:

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Day shift coverage
  • Surgical First Assist experience is preferred
  • Our levels of expertise include, Intracranial: trauma, brain tumors, general vascular, shunts and drains, and stroke care when needed. Spine: comfortable with acute spine fracture mgt (cervical, thoracic, and LS spines) at a minimum the surgical treatment of unstable burst fx.s, Neurosurgical management of Degenerative Spine disorders. (We have both Stryker Q-guidance and Medtronic Stealth O-arm neuronavigation systems). Our group has Complex/deformity (adult and pediatric) spine, Functional (DBS), and Pituitary Neurosurgeons/strong ENT alliance with skull base specialists on board and are available for collaboration and joint management as needed.

Job Description:

  • Assist with rounding on inpatient service and coordinating care with other service lines
  • First assist in OR
  • Assist in outpatient setting with pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care

About us

Compensation range: $180,000 base salary for a full-time position with earning potential over $250,000 after bonuses. Southland Arthritis is one of the largest Rheumatology groups in Southern California with 6 clinics (Temecula, Menifee, Hemet, Corona, Riverside, San Bernardino) and 12 providers. We are looking for a 5th experienced Full-Time or a Part- Time Rheumatology Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to work at our Riverside office. You must have at least 2 years of experience working in a Rheumatology practice and have experience managing DMARDs, biologics and giving steroid injections. Your application will not be considered unless you have previously worked for a Rheumatologist for at least 2 years (no exceptions).

We offer an above market rate compensation structure which includes a base salary, productivity bonus, infusion profit sharing bonus, clinical trial bonus, chronic care management bonus, remote therapeutic monitoring bonus, paid-time off, health insurance, 401K and a CME allowance.
