Cross‑Functional Support

This position provides essential operational support to the CX team and plays a key role in ensuring surveys, reporting, documentation, and communications run smoothly. - Practical application of project management skills:
- Create/update the strategy for the program to meet all its milestones with system safety features integrated into the product in compliance with contract and awarded funding.

Execution
Technical Lead in the area of digital signal processing (DSP).
Ensure program success collaborating with program management, finance, supply chain, contracts, and other functions/disciplines, consistent with the CE responsibilities.
Reviews and approve program technical baselines, ensuring program phase appropriateness.
Ensure collaboration between teams to achieve cost/schedule/performance efficiencies.
Review and approve engineering execution risk mitigations and opportunity capture plans, ensure alignment to work being performed.
Ensure program-level Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and ad hoc review boards are thoroughly implemented with appropriate frequency.
Accountable for providing engineering inputs to Program Estimate At Completions (EACs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs).
Lead outstanding program execution, metrics collection, analysis and reporting.
People
Ensure base program and task order deliveries are staffed with appropriate engineering skillsets.
Review and communicate staffing demand for the base program, task order deliveries, and in anticipation program modifications.
Develop and maintain a Chief Engineer succession plan, actively mentor potential successors.
Process & Policy
Ensure the program's engineering leads and engineering personnel are following approved program processes, procedures and contractual requirements.
Request and lead engineering reviews and customer technical meetings, ensuring they are appropriate to the scope and phase of the program (e.g. Operational Readiness Review, Increment Planning, etc.).
Accountable to plan, develop, and review program estimates at complete, bids, milestone reviews, and gates per the approved S-ISR Delegation of Authority, or as otherwise directed by the Program Area Chief Engineer (PACE).
If failures occur, ensure Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action (FRACA) implementation is thorough, addresses systemic issues (if any), and is in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications You Must Have
