Responsibilities


Clinical Duties


• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including:

  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy
  • Biopsy and polypectomy
  • Hemostasis and dilation
  • PEG placement
  • Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including:
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Liver disease and hepatitis
  • Pancreatic disorders
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Participate in a shared call schedule

Qualifications


• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency

• Completion of accredited Gastroenterology fellowship

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
