Purpose:
The Chef is directly responsible for the cost-effective operation of a clean and safe kitchen while meeting or exceeding food quality and speed of service requirements. - Working proactively with the General Manager to maximize sales and optimize profits through the
management of food and labor costs.
- Food COGS goal of 28% or less.
- Total Kitchen Labor goal of 11%
- Analyzing weekly costs to ensure proactive management of controllable costs.
- Assuming full responsibility for:
- Monitoring daily BOH labor reports and minimizing overtime.
- Providing a monthly physical inventory
- Maintaining the valuations on your inventory using invoices from vendor
- Purchasing and Receiving
- Monitoring local vendors accordingly.
- Placing effective orders, based on sales, while simultaneously taking advantage of drop size

Production
- Taking a hands-on approach and being directly involved in daily production.

Personnel
The Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen staffing and is responsible for the hiring and
scheduling of quality employees to execute the menu successfully and to maintain the smooth flow of
kitchen operations.
Specifically:
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate staffing levels and remaining abreast of any changes that may
impact staffing needs.
- Keeping the GM informed of all staffing needs.
- Ensuring thorough and complete training of all employees, including kitchen operations, knife

The Chef is responsible for the daily upkeep of the physical restaurant/kitchen, specifically:

- Support the Property Manager (PM) by repairing and maintaining the physical conditions which meets building codes and those standards imposed by HUD and other housing regulatory agencies/ commissions.
- Ensure that work orders are managed through the Yardi software system and that they are completed within 24 hours of submission.
- Ensure that systems are in place or created to maximize resident and employee safety and health, and to preserve the physical assets.
- Manage resident relations / customer inquiries with the highest degree of professionalism.
- Seek opportunities to enhance communications and to build collaborative relationships with Regional Property Supervisor, fellow colleagues, Maintenance Technicians and vendors.
Reporting to a Property Manager, the successful candidate will thrive in a team oriented environment and should possess the following:
- Three – Five years of direct experience (minimum) in property management and related fields (construction and acquisition/renovation).
- Some Post High School Education, Apprenticeship, or Supervised Technical Training Preferred
- Demonstrate ability and expertise in making electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs related to the general maintenance of a multifamily community.
- Successfully manage preventative and reactive maintenance obligations.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships for projects and routine maintenance, a plus
- Proficiency in the use of computers and mobile devices including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and Yardi financial reporting software.
- Confidence in creating effective solutions for how to deal with challenges or problems.
- Knowledge of HUD regulations, forms, inspection criteria/processes and the low income housing tax credit program as they relate to physical assets and customer service.
- Availability to work periodic flexible hours and overtime as may be required.
- Ability to travel by plane and automobile may be required.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and automobile insurance coverage as use of personal vehicle may be required.
- Must be able to perform the following duties 66-100% of the time: be on feet, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, climb stairs, push/pull, reach above shoulder, climb ladders, grasp/grip/turn, finger dexterity, lift/carry up to 75lbs, be able to read and understand maintenance forms and warning labels.

The MassMutual Enterprise Architecture team in the Enterprise Technology and Experience organization is seeking an outstanding Enterprise Architect (Application) to join our team. Enterprise Architecture is composed of Business, Application, Infrastructure, Technology & Design and Security architecture domains. Joining this team will give the Application EA a unique perspective and opportunity to partner with best-in-class architects on enterprise wide technology initiatives.
The Impact:
This role will work with IT and Business stakeholders of business delivery teams, engineers, application operations, product managers, and enterprise stakeholders to help deliver innovative, data-driven systems aimed at transforming the insurance industry. As part of the application architecture team, incumbents may be responsible for any of the following:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and maintain the Technology strategies & roadmap focused on Wealth Management
- Manage a domain(s) of the MassMutual Application Portfolio Management data for quality
- Technical evaluations and benchmarking of core application platforms, frameworks and technologies
- Specification and publication of standards around application design and software engineering best practices
- Thought leadership and active participation in conferences and research with strategic partners and academic institutions
- Partner with business executives and senior architects to identify data and process issues, then provide solution options and recommends options
- Provide recommendations on system options, risks, cost/benefit analysis, and impact on cross-domain systems, business strategy, goals and processes
- Engage in SA problem solving, snapshots and full architecture documents
- Actively publish deliverables, and utilizes multi-media to educate and engage with federated solution architecture community members
- Collaborate with extended enterprise architecture, business, and IT support teams to communicate architecture strategies, standards, and direction

The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related Technical degree
- 8+ years of related IT Solutions Architecture or Technical Lead experience
The Ideal Qualifications
- 10+ years of related IT Architecture or IT consulting experience
- Preferred job experience includes some knowledge of Insurance and Wealth Management
- Experience with technology supporting: Financial Planning, Order Management, Lending, Wealth Investment Products, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and reasoning skills
- A team-focused mentality with proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in Capability mapping and business architecture concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on the ability to effectively influence others, collaborate and partner.
- Understanding of the impact of IT on business results
- Demonstrated experience using Architecture Methodology (TOGAF, Archimate)
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
- Experience in Public Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), solution design and development using Cloud-native services, and understanding of cost rationalization.
- AWS/Azure Cloud Certification
- Strong experience in Architecture and Design patterns
- Developed acumen in Domain Driven Design
- Strong experience with event streaming design and implementation using Kafka, along with web service protocols and patterns like SOAP, REST, JSON, XML/XSDs.
- Experience with REST API for data interchange and API-driven systems integration decoupling digital and backend systems.
- Track record of designing architectural reference material
