Plant Manager

Large, high-volume Tier 1 Automotive facility in eastern TN has immediate opening for a Plant Manager. This facility is part of an international corporation. The Plant Manager will ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets are met.

The plant has a strong culture of Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing. The Plant Manager must have good communication skills and interact well at all levels of the organization.

Experience working with Toyota, Nissan, Honda or other Japanese automotive OEM's is a big plus.

There is a solid customer base with sales and production exceeding the forecast. This facility ships directly to customers and also supplies sister locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations. The Plant Manager will have P&L responsibility
• Maintain clean and safe workplace
• Analyze production costs to establish areas for improvements

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or relevant technical field
• 5+ years of Plant Management experience, ideally in high-volume manufacturing
• A background in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing is a MUST
