The Electrical QC Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership of quality control activities on assigned projects. This role is responsible for supervising QC personnel, ensuring contract compliance, driving consistent implementation of the 3-Phase Quality Control process, and serving as the primary quality liaison with project leadership, General Contractors, and Owners. The supervisor ensures quality standards are met through effective planning, inspection oversight, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all project quality control activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and company standards.

About the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Mathematics instruct students from across campus, including undergraduate and graduate students. Its faculty carry out research in a wide variety of Mathematical Sciences. They are key players in several cross-disciplinary institutes, centers, and programs at Georgia Tech, including PhD programs in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO), Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), Bioinformatics, Quantitative Bioscience (QBioS), and Machine Learning ( ).

Job Summary

The School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for several
non-tenure track Hale Assistant Professorships to begin in Fall 2026, though pending administrative approval- an appointment may begin sooner as well. The position consists of an annually renewable three-year research and teaching appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School. In addition to a reduced teaching load in the first year, the position includes research funding. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include developing an international level research program; collaborating across the university in research and grant efforts; teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses.



Required Qualifications

A PhD or its equivalent in the Mathematical Sciences, granted not more than 5 years prior the start of the appointment. An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment.



Preferred Qualifications

(1) potential to carry out research of exceptional quality at Georgia Tech; (2) research interests complementary to existing strengths in the School of Mathematics; (3) strong potential for external funding; (4) the ability in teaching, scholarship, and/or service that contributes to the Institute's Student Success Criteria. Consistent with these priorities, candidates will be considered in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Statistics.

Job Summary

Lead strategic communications/PR efforts for College of Engineering, Sciences, Computing, Architecture, Business, Ivan Allen College, international campuses and other campus centers including message development, media visibility, media training and conceiving, planning, organizing and executing PR activities. These activities include, but not limited to, public meetings, grand openings, rollout events and other relationship building and brand promotion activities. Monitor media inquiries, remain on call 24/7, and serve as a member of the crisis communications team for the Institute, providing backup to the Institute spokesperson, Media Director and Institute Vice President as necessary. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: faculty, staff, students, external audiences including media. This position will typically advise and counsel: faculty, staff, students. This position will supervise: None.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Prepare news releases, talking points, op eds, media pitches and other written materials.

Job Duty 2 - Administer public relations needs for assigned beats; compile daily news summary.

Job Duty 3 - Develop and execute PR plans for specific units or events.

Job Duty 4 - Provide content for Institute Web site; maintain experts guide.

Job Duty 5 - Secure video, photography and other multimedia to support news release or pitch; conceive, manage and promote signature programs that position Georgia Tech as a thought leader.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience pitching and developing visually driven story concepts while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
