3. Prepare and manage construction documents, including plans, estimates, and specifications.
4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met.
5. Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.) to plan and design projects.
6. Ensure project designs comply with various regulations and quality standards.
7. Perform risk assessments and propose solutions to technical problems.
8. Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress.
9. Continually update technical knowledge and skills through various learning opportunities.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. At least 2 years of experience in civil design engineering.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
4. Extensive experience in the design of civil infrastructure and preparation of construction documents.
5. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
6. Excellent mathematical, design, and engineering skills.
7. Strong project management abilities.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. EIT is preferred.
