Position Summary

The National Operations Manager is responsible for building, standardizing and overseeing operational systems across North American Fire Protection at a national level.

This role provides leadership and accountability for Project Management, Field Superintendents, Inspection and Facilities ensuring consistent standards, strong leadership and scalable operational infrastructure across all regions.

Field Superintendents and Foreman retain authority over daily jobsite execution, manpower, installation quality and jobsite closeout. The National Operations Manager oversees leadership performance, operational systems, safety governance, asset protection, and company-wide accountability.

This is a high-visibility leadership position requiring strong industry experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate confidently at both the operational and executive levels.

Core Responsibilities

·       Lead and develop Field Superintendents and Project Managers

·       Establish and maintain company-wide operational standards

·       Define authority structures and accountability frameworks

·       Conduct performance reviews for Superintendents, PMs and Inspection leaders

·       Provide executive-level escalation support when leadership-level issues arise

·       Standardize communication processes between field and office

·       Drive consistency across teams (The NAFPCO Way)

Safety & Compliance Governance

·       Own and update the company Safety Manual

·       Develop company-wide safety policies aligned with OSHA and NFPA standards

·       Conduct periodic safety audits across projects

·       Review incidents and oversee corrective action strategy at a company level

·       Ensure Superintendents are enforcing safety standards

·       Maintain company-wide compliance systems and documentation

Field Performance Oversight

·       Conduct executive-level jobsite visits focused on:

·       Leadership effectiveness

·       Standard adherence

·       Policy compliance

·       Develop and implement a standardized Jobsite Operational Scorecard

·       Identify performance trends across projects

·       Address systemic underperformance

·       Oversee regional workforce capacity planning and crew assignment

Systems & Asset Management

·       Develop and manage company-wide tool tracking systems

·       Oversee vehicle fleet policies, compliance, and lifecycle planning

·       Protect company assets through accountability systems

·       Improve field-to-office workflow systems

·       Standardize operational processes to support national scalability

KPI & Performance Management

·       Monitor national operational KPIs including:

·       Labor trend performance

·       Job cost trend analysis

·       Safety metrics

·       Rework patterns

·       Equipment loss trends

·       Develop reporting dashboards for executive review

·       Identify systemic performance gaps

·       Drive company-wide operational improvement initiatives

Cross-Department Strategic Alignment

·       Partner with Estimating on operational risk review during project handoff

·       Align design standards with field execution standards

·       Collaborate with Finance on operational margin trends

·       Work with HR on workforce development strategy

·       Serve as operational advisor to President and executive team

·       Translate executive strategy into operational standards and systems

Facilities & Infrastructure Oversight

·       Oversee warehouse, yard, and facilities standards

·       Standardize prefabrication and shipping processes

·       Ensure facilities support operational efficiency

·       Maintain professional operational footprint aligned with company brand

Leadership Expectations

Qualifications

·       10+ years in construction or fire sprinkler industry

·       Comfortable operating at executive level

·       Strong analytical and organizational skills

The Opportunity:

The Travel and Procurement Coordinator II plays a key role in managing travel and procurement tasks for the Business Center. This position serves as the primary point of contact for colleges and divisions on procurement-related activities. This position monitors and processes requisitions daily through UCF systems. The Travel and Procurement Coordinator assists in developing solicitations for bids and participates in creating contracts, leases, and supplier agreements. This position acquires goods and services using assigned procurement cards and ensures accurate receipt documentation. This position collaborates with Procurement Specialists to resolve issues, maintain visibility, and support end-user communications and training. The Travel and Procurement Coordinator is expected to work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment and ensure compliance with procurement policies and fund use guidelines.

Responsbilities:

• Buyer role and Responsible for Management of Direct / Indirect spending for categories
• Influence procurement, contract decisions in support of the commodity strategy
• Procurement: Planning, scheduling, and placing purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods.
• Open order management:
• Generate and analyze open order reports using Power BI.
• Track pending orders and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
• Past dues & aging purchase orders:
• Monitor overdue and aging POs through power BI dashboards.
• Implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Supplier performance:
• Maintain and update the preferred supplier List.
• Track compliance and adherence to supplier guidelines.
• Support the supplier for problem analysis, road map building, action plan follow-up
• Inventory & Stockout Prevention:
• Managing inventory levels, extract and analyze week-to-stock-out data.
• Collaborate with planning teams to avoid line stoppages.

Minimizing obsolescence.

• Production continuity:
• Investigate and report Line Down Incidents caused by supply issues.
• Develop preventive measures to reduce production stoppages.
• Oracle System Updates:
• Work in oracle ERP to update Promise Dates and ensure accurate delivery commitments.
• Validate parts qualification and maintain master data integrity.
• Reporting on daily / weekly / monthly activities
• Continuous Improvement: Implementing process enhancements in purchasing

Position Summary

The Accessories Product Coordinator supports the Product Management team in the development, launch, and lifecycle management of firearm accessories and related product lines. This role coordinates cross-functional efforts between Product Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure successful execution of Canik products falling into the assigned categories.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the development all Canik accessories alongside the Canik teams.

· Design and proof all Canik accessory packaging alongside the Canik teams.

· Responsible supporting for the forecasting of sales, pricing, and margin for Canik accessories.

· Serves as the point person between Canik USA and Century Arms.

· Works with the compliance team to establish product information and apply for appropriate permits.

· Assists in ensuring all Canik accessories have sufficient inventory at all times, including placing new orders

· Partners with the Warranty Parts Specialist on the inventory management of Canik warranty parts

· Work with logistics team to approve and monitor shipments for Canik accessories

· Supports the maintenance and accuracy of the Canik accessory list

· Develop sales sheets with marketing as needed

· Interact with sales team and launch product as assigned

· Analyze market trends, competitor activity and sales performance to make informed recommendations

· Work with the customer service team to maintain Canik accessory and warranty information

· Partner with the Canik Team Lead and Warranty Parts Specialist positions to resolve any open inventory, customer service, and shipping questions

· Collaborate with designated colleagues to ensure overall achievement of product objectives and assist in determining product vision, positioning, and direction

· Align product launch activities with marketing activities and support in creating positioning, benefit arguments, and sales arguments

· Aid in ensuring Canik product literature and manuals are accurate and relevant

· Assist with Canik product launch timelines as needed

· Support in the creation of business cases for Canik accessories

· Interact with Website Coordinator to ensure all Canik products are displayed accurately on the website

· Attend and participate in domestic/and or international tradeshows throughout the year as directed

· Travel domestically or internationally as directed

· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

· Demonstrates complete working knowledge of firearms safety.

· Maintains and keeps workstation and department area clean.

· Immediately reports any maintenance and/or safety issues to Management.

QualificationsRequired

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

· 2+ years of experience in product coordination, product management support, or related role.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

· Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

· Experience in firearms, tactical products, or outdoor industry.

· Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

FK Instrument is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for evaluating customer RFQs, developing efficient manufacturing plans, and preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for precision machined components.

You’ll play a critical role in securing new business while ensuring projects are quoted profitably and aligned with our shop capabilities. This position works closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Review customer RFQs, blueprints, and 3D CAD models to assess manufacturability and define project scope
• Develop efficient manufacturing process plans, including operation sequencing
• Estimate setup times, cycle times, labor, and machine utilization using CAM software and historical data
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, machine time, tooling, outside services, and overhead
• Source pricing for raw materials and subcontracted services (heat treating, plating, grinding, finishing, etc.)
• Identify manufacturing risks (tight tolerances, complex geometries, difficult materials) and incorporate into estimates
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure alignment with shop capabilities and capacity
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Track awarded jobs by comparing estimated vs. actual costs and lead times to improve accuracy
• Monitor and analyze KPIs such as quote turnaround time and win rates to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records of quotes while ensuring confidentiality of customer and company data

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (setup and/or programming)
• Experience with ERP/estimating systems and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T with a high level of accuracy
• Experience factoring in material lead times, supply chain constraints, and cost fluctuations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
