Associate Attorney – Short Hills, NJ

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York, and, preferably, the State of New Jersey, and have been awarded a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school. Ideal candidates will have a record of outstanding academic achievement, clinical legal experience, superior legal writing and critical reasoning skills, and a demonstrated interest in construction-related work. Candidates with prior clerkship experience will receive priority consideration. Minimum Requirements:

Salary Range:

Junior Associate: $95,000 - $135,000

Mid-Level Associate: $135,000 - $200,000

SUMMARY

This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing day-to-day account activity while ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the main liaison for customer accounts, supporting quotes, purchase orders, order status updates, and contractual coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and support quality staff in Raw Inspection, X-Ray, NDT, Final Inspection, and Shipping departments. Ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards across all relevant quality functions. Support the First Article Inspection and PPAP process, ensuring all documentation and validation meet standards and customer requirements. Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Develop and implement quality procedures, metrics, and reporting tools to drive continuous improvement. Investigate non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, and drive effective corrective/preventive actions. Serve as a quality liaison between internal teams and external customers. Train and mentor quality staff to maintain high standards of performance and compliance. Oversee quality documentation for final product inspections and shipping to ensure full traceability and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). Minimum 8 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment for aerospace or defense. Proven experience with AS9100, NADCAP, and other quality standards. Position Overview

The Construction Manager / Owner’s Representative will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of wood-framed multifamily residential developments. Acting as the owner’s on-site and strategic representative, this individual will manage all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a hands-on professional with deep expertise in wood-framed construction, strong financial and scheduling capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s representative throughout all phases of construction, from pre-construction through project closeout

This is a Remote-Field position in which you will work from home and utilize a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments. Although the primary work location is in the field, with a commutable distance from home, there will be opportunities for virtual work to be completed at home. Additionally, there may be occasions where you will be required to travel outside your assigned area to assist in other territories.  

Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible schedules and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.

• Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in the insurance industry, specifically in property claims
• Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage and claim handling practices
