Financial Analyst Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Acquisitions & Development team of a fast-growing real estate investment and development firm. The role will work directly with the Senior Acquisitions & Development Associate and will gain significant exposure to the full acquisition and investment process. Primary Responsibilities:

Underwriting and Pro Forma Management:

  • Own financial models for value-add and development projects, including: initial underwriting, updates throughout the due diligence, and during project execution
  • Validate all pro forma assumptions (revenue, expenses, financing, capex, etc.) using portfolio operating data, market research, disclosures and other sources.
  • Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to further define risks on specific transactions or prospective markets, as well as support on key decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate on improvements to Riaz Capital model template(s) and underwriting tools as needed.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our President and Vice President. Both roles span a wide range of responsibilities across strategy, client relationships, preconstruction, and day-to-day operations.


This isn’t a traditional administrative role.


We’re looking for someone who can bring structure and consistency to a fast-moving environment, help prioritize what matters most, and keep things moving forward. Someone who is comfortable working across a variety of tasks and can adapt as priorities shift.


The right person is proactive, organized, and takes pride in doing things well. Just as important, they understand how to interact with people in a thoughtful, professional way - both internally and externally.


Work Environment & Schedule

This role is based at our San Francisco headquarters and requires in-person attendance five days a week to ensure seamless support for our executives.

Key Responsibilities


Executive Support & Coordination

  • Manage and prioritize complex calendars for both executives
  • Coordinate travel and logistics with attention to detail
  • Stay ahead of shifting priorities and keep schedules aligned
  • Help manage inbound requests and access in a thoughtful way


Communication & Relationships

  • Act as a point of coordination across teams and external partners
  • Draft emails, presentations, and other materials as needed
  • Support ongoing client outreach and relationship tracking
  • Maintain CRM updates and contact lists


Meetings & Follow-Through

  • Prepare agendas and materials for meetings
  • Track action items and help ensure follow-through

Projects & Preconstruction Support

We are actively hiring one or more Assistant Commercial Property Managers in San Francisco, CA to support PBV’s expanding portfolio. Required Education and/or Experience:

  • California Real Estate Salesperson license (or ability to obtain within first year)
  • Computer skills including internet, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and Yardi. Kardin, MRI and Angus experience a plus.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily property operations to ensure the buildings are maintained in first-class condition and in compliance with PBV standards.
  • Develop familiarity with tenant leases and support administration of landlord obligations, including lease abstracts and maintenance of tenant and vendor files.
  • Prepare and distribute tenant correspondence, including building notices, operational updates, and policy communications.
  • Maintain positive tenant relationships by responding promptly and professionally to tenant questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Actively monitor tenant service requests and maintenance issues to ensure timely response, resolution, and appropriate billing when applicable.
  • Assist with tenant bill-backs for utilities, after-hours HVAC, and other services.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions and proper documentation.
  • Support tenant engagement and retention efforts, including building communications and occasional tenant events.
  • Perform routine property inspections and prepare inspection reports; follow up on identified deficiencies as directed.
  • Support vendor management activities including bid coordination, contract administration, scheduling, and service inspections.
  • Track and maintain certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors, escalating deficiencies as necessary.
  • Support property accounting functions including invoice coding, accounts payable processing, rent collection tracking, delinquency follow-up, CAM reconciliations, and budget preparation.
  • Assist the Property Manager with preparation of monthly management reports for ownership, including compiling operational updates, financial summaries, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate property records, contact lists, and filing systems in both electronic and physical formats (as necessary).
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Property Manager and leadership team.
  • Assist with emergency preparedness planning, incident documentation, and business continuity procedures.
  • Support leasing efforts by coordinating suite access for tours and providing operating expense and building information as requested.
  • Assist with tenant improvement coordination, capital projects, and other special projects as directed.
  • Perform additional assignments as required by ownership or senior leadership.
