The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the selection and management of MEP subcontractors, and the review, management, and administration of mechanical bid tabs/Exhibit Bs, MEP submittals, monthly MEP requisitions and change orders, and MEP contractor schedule/performance.


Responsibilities

  • Review mechanical bid tabs and Exhibit B in contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Interview, evaluate, and select subcontractors for each project
  • Oversee daily operations and performance of MEP subcontractors
  • Approve MEP monthly requisitions and change orders after thorough review
  • Conduct site walks to monitor progress, update schedules, and ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams and Superintendents to maintain coordination aligned with the schedule
  • Partner with the A/E team to resolve coordination challenges and develop effective solutions
  • Review and approve all MEP submittals for compliance with project requirements
  • Secure documentation from inspections and testing, based on project size and scope
  • Manage and supervise MEP & FP contractors and the Commissioning agent throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with owner’s third-party MEP contractors and testing agencies as needed
  • Collect mechanical closeout documentation, including as-builts, attic stock, and O&M manuals
  • Facilitate multi-trade coordination (e.g., curtain wall integration with security, electrical, and hardware)
  • Develop and track equipment delivery logs; prioritize submittals for long-lead items
  • Participate in weekly meetings with owners, subcontractors, and coordination teams
  • Obtain approvals and sign-offs from all Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
  • Support retail and tenant fit-out activities where applicable
  • Prepare and complete MEP punch lists and work lists
  • Organize owner training sessions and manage project turnover
  • Liaise with public utility companies to meet project requirements, including temporary services (electrical, steam, natural gas)
  • Direct and coordinate all parties to successfully complete life safety inspections
  • Ensure accurate electrical requirements for mechanical systems and verify alignment between drawings and specifications


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (technical/engineering degree) Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire protection

The Chief Estimator will be responsible for providing full electrical estimating and proposal preparation for all types of industrial facilities, including both new construction and maintenance, for projects up to $20M in value. Estimates will cover all types of contracts in the energy, mining, power, manufacturing, pulp/paper, agricultural, pharma, and other industries which Loenbro serves.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate attendance to bid meetings and walk throughs at various client locations to determine project scope, complexities, accessibilities, and required content of proposal.
  • Review instructions and proposal specifications, drawings, technical data necessary to provide a complete proposal for the customer.
  • Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, previous proposals, job reports, etc. into unit and man hour figures for cost and production-based estimates.
  • Prepare full-scope estimates on small, medium, and large-scale projects, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide a project/estimate turnover and technical support for projects as needed to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Review Field Change Orders for assigned projects and provide estimates if necessary.
  • Ensure all documentation is maintained to support estimate figures.

Under the supervision of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production/manufacturing equipment and machinery for a new start-up facility. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnosis equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. Responsible for assuring all work performed meets Product Safety and Quality, Employee Safety, and Legality of Policies and Procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Follow specifications of blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings; install, maintain and repair

equipment, machinery, physical structures, and plumbing/electrical systems.

2. Inspect, measure, and test equipment while in operation visually (using electrical and electronic equipment) and auditory (listening for unusual sounds from machines or equipment) to detect malfunction, wear, misalignment, or other problems. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

3. Discuss/diagnose machine problems with the Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Production Superintendent, Plant Manager, or other maintenance workers. Inform appropriate management personnel of equipment and parts needs.

The Role

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments. The CNC Machinist will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and efficient production workflows in a fast-paced environment.


Duties


Set-up machines to produce in conformance parts to existing programs. Including gathering/loading of machine tools and inspection tools.

Works closely with the team leader and team members to achieve necessary work requirements

Clearly communicate and document non-conformances and perform root cause analysis.

Complete all required documentation.

Follow all ISO standards.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Maintains a clean work environment, including daily cleaning of floors and machinery within the assigned work area.

Self-sufficient in start-up and shutdown equipment procedures, including re-starts after minor stoppages.

Performs operator PM of machinery, including required lubrication & maintaining proper oil & coolant levels.

Demonstrates ability to perform setup and operate the machine in a safe & efficient manner.

Changes cutting tools & performs minor tooling adjustments and program offsets.

Performs necessary quality checks of parts, including the effective use of calipers, micrometers, and functional gauges.

Recommends measures to improve productivity and quality of products to increase efficiency.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision.

Experience with Mazatrol or similar conversational programming is a big plus. Programming not required, but programming knowledge is helpful.

Performs own setups and runs pre-programmed and established jobs to meet demand.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


· Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.


· Attention to detail, able to hold tight tolerances, and make complex parts.


· Understand and properly use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, travel indicators, plug and ring gages. (Digital, Vernier, Analog)


· Must be able to understand GD&T


· Must be able to read G code program, set up machines, and diagnose problems


· Self-motivated, able to work well with subordinates and leaders.


· Multi-task, work with a sense of urgency, meet tight deadlines, and work overtime as required.
