About the position

As a   Production Technician   with   Carowinds Live Entertainment   Department, you will play a vital role in the creation and execution of our brand new shows, attractions, and events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your previous experience in an amusement park setting, where you will work on crews responsible for building, setting up, operating, and tearing down live shows and events. Your primary responsibilities will include reading, understanding, and implementing plans and blueprints, as well as translating designer concepts into functional builds for shows and events. You will be expected to assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure with minimal supervision, ensuring that all projects meet the high standards of quality and safety expected at Carowinds. In this role, proficiency with hand and power tools is essential, as you will operate a variety of equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles. You will have the opportunity to work both individually and as part of a team, collaborating with fellow associates to create memorable experiences for our guests. As   a   part of the Carowinds   Production   team, y our daily assigned duties would be as follows :  

• Build, set up, operate, and tear down live shows and events.
• Read,  understand, and implement plans and blueprints.
• Translate plans and designer concepts into functional builds for shows and events.
• Assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure with minimal   supervision.
• Operate a variety of equipment such as golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and construction equipment.
• Work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goal.
• Other duties may be assigned  

• Previous experience working on several productions in a fully equipped theater or similar experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Good judgment and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Independently applies actuarial methodologies to complete structured projects (e.g.)

• Builds tools to test and implement new methodologies that improve accuracy of actuarial analysis; utilizes model results to select new variables and refresh existing variables in a rating algorithm; analyzes results from multiple methodologies to propose reserve selections and documenting rationale).

• Identifies and  improves existing processes utilizing actuarial, mathematical, or statistical techniques.

• Proactively resolves technical issues and identifies appropriate issues for escalation.

• Assists others with troubleshooting issues.

• Creates instructions and training materials for actuarial tools and processes.

• Mentors new team members.

• Apply business acumen to provide actionable insights that help solve business problems.

• Effectively communicates insights and solutions to broad audiences including actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders.

• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of related actuarial/business/analytical experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

• 2 years of actuarial or analytical business experience.

• 3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams.

• Experience with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques and approaches used to support fact-based decision-making.

• Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data & methods and ability to connect technical insights to business problems.

What sets you apart:

• Familiarity with Excel and at least one programming language or modeling software package (Python, SQL, R, SAS, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience with basic actuarial pricing methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience aggregating and analyzing data to solve problems.

• Ability to effectively communicate insights and solutions to broad audiences including actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders.

• P&C Personal Lines pricing experience.

• Familiarity and experience with industry pricing software such as Earnix.

About the Role

AIR is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to support the execution of on-site merchandising and promotional activities for our ecommerce websites. This role plays a key part in maintaining an accurate, engaging, and commercially effective digital experience ensuring the right products, content, and campaigns are presented to the right audiences at the right time.

The Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining product listings, category structures, homepage modules, and promotional banners within Magento. Site Merchandising & Content Execution

• Build and maintain product listings, ensuring accuracy in images, descriptions, attributes, and pricing.
• Configure and update category structures, navigation menus, and filters across both ecommerce sites.
• Support execution of homepage updates, promotional banners, and seasonal campaign placements.
• Implement cross-sell and upsell strategies within key categories to drive conversion and AOV.
• Ensure site content is aligned with promotional calendars, product launches, and commercial priorities.

Campaign & Promotional Support

• Partner with the Digital Merchandising & Experience Manager to execute on-site elements for campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.
• Coordinate with Marketing and the Email Agency to align creative assets and messaging across channels.
• Monitor campaign execution and troubleshoot any site or asset issues to ensure timely, accurate updates.

Quality Assurance & Site Health

• Conduct regular audits of product data, imagery, links, and category placements to ensure a flawless customer experience.
• Validate product availability, pricing accuracy, and promotional display across both desktop and mobile experiences.
• Identify and correct issues that impact search, filtering, or conversion performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Category Manager to onboard new products and categories efficiently.
• Collaborate with the B2B Commercial team to align on promotions and bulk-buy offers.
• Provide feedback to developers and IT on site enhancements, functionality issues, and optimization opportunities.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track key merchandising metrics such as product availability, click-through, and conversion.
• Share insights on product performance and customer browsing behavior to inform category and promo strategy.
• Support testing and optimization initiatives to improve UX and onsite engagement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, site operations, or digital content management. Hands-on experience with Magento (or similar eCommerce CMS) required. Familiarity with PIM systems, basic HTML, and digital asset management workflows.

Your primary responsibilities will include reading, understanding, and implementing plans and blueprints, as well as translating designer concepts into functional builds for shows and events. You will be expected to assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure with minimal supervision, ensuring that all projects meet the high standards of quality and safety expected at Carowinds. In this role, proficiency with hand and power tools is essential, as you will operate a variety of equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles. • Operate a variety of equipment such as golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and construction equipment.
• Work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goal.
• Other duties may be assigned

• Previous experience working on several productions in a fully equipped theater or similar experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Good judgment and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
