Unit Description: As a Pre-Op nurse in our 22-bay prep unit supporting the patients coming through for the operating room. You will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population with a variety of conditions who are both inpatient and outpatient. As we are a level 1 trauma center, we see patients for surgeries within all service lines.

Department Description: Our High Technology Nursing program provides skilled, compassionate in-home nursing for patients who require around-the-clock care and advanced medical technology. Our nurses rotate through care, so you will never be required to work longer than your schedule 8, 10, or 12 hour shift.
Our team provides one-on-one, in-home care to adults and children with critical and complex medical needs. We do this by utilizing advanced medical equipment in the comfort of each patient’s home. We also provide high-level care to patients who sustained life-threatening illnesses or injuries in the past, often following trauma or major surgery. We monitor and manage these patients by operating complex equipment, administering medication, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Even though you work independently in the home, you’re never alone—your manager and care team are only a phone call away. We believe in taking care of our nurses, so they can take care of our patients.

Job Type: Full-time Days, Evenings, some weekends
Schedule Options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts (based on your preference and availability)
$10,000 Sign on Bonus for Full time external applicants
$6,000 Relocation Bonus for those relocating 120+ miles from previous work location
$5.20/hour weekend night shift differential, $3.10/hour night shift differential, $2.00/hour evening shift differential
What You’ll DoProvide in-home nursing care to patients with medically complex conditions
Manage and monitor equipment such as ventilators, tracheostomies, and feeding tubes
Administer medications and perform skilled nursing procedures
Support and teach families to provide safe care at home
Assist with exercise, physical therapy, and daily living activities
Work independently in the field while staying connected to a supportive team
Experience with high-tech or home health care is preferred, but not required. We offer comprehensive orientation, preceptorship, and ongoing professional development to help you feel confident and supported.

We are a tight knit group of RNs that work closely with other members of our team to care for patients experiencing chronic, acute and cancer-related pain. This is a procedural position that requires wearing a 15 lb. lead vest for the duration of the day.

Unit Description: Provides advanced professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's health needs. The Ambulatory RN II works with patients with malignancies and their oncology care team to triage and provide appropriate patient care. Unit Description: Inpatient Rehabilitation nursing is a different type of nursing. We are primarily coaching and educating our patients as we care for their medical needs. We strive to help our patient’s transition back home by helping to guide, coach and direct them to become independent in their activities of daily living. We work very closely with PTs and OTs and MD’s and we help our patients carry out their treatments. If you like to develop relationships with your patients and their families, and you have patience and good people skills, inpatient rehabilitation may be the right kind of nursing for you. We are a 35-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit located at the Fanny Allen Campus where Fletcher Allen’s Rehabilitation Center is based. We provide team-based care, working closely with PTs, OTs, SLPs, Recreational Therapists, MD’s and Medical Psychologists. We have a wide range of patients, including brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and multi-traumas or illness that requires a more intensive Rehabilitation for patients. Our average length of stay is 13 days, but our range is 5 to 90 days. Around 95% of our patients return home with a small present needing to go to a SAR (Suba acute Rehabilitation) or to a long-term care facility.

Unit Description: The Infusion Nurse in Ambulatory Oncology provides chemotherapy and biologic therapies to adult patients with complex illness. Key aspects of this direct-care role include insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters; establishing access via utilizing implanted devices; administration of systemic chemotherapy and biotherapies; supporting the infusion patient who is participating in clinical trials; and comprehensive patient assessment and education.

Department Description: The Community Hospice team delivers care to patients in the community, providing a wide range of skilled nursing care and support. We are an interdisciplinary team all collaborating together to support patients to remain in the setting of their choice, their home. The RN will provide a full range of skilled nursing care to patients in a home care setting with a focus on patient education and palliative care to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients, while educating and providing support to families.

Minimum Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Community Hospice Nurse or minimum of four years of experience in home health nursing.
