We are seeking a dedicated Material Planner / Purchaser (MRP Specialist) to join our supply chain team. This role focuses on direct materials planning and procurement (e.g., solar cells, glass, encapsulants like EVA/POE, frames, ribbons, junction boxes, etc.) using MRP logic in our ERP system. The position ensures timely material availability to support continuous production, optimal inventory levels, cost control, and supply chain resilience in the fast-evolving U.S. solar market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute MRP runs in the ERP system based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS), customer orders, BOMs, inventory data, and production forecasts to calculate net material requirements and generate accurate purchase requisitions and production orders.
  2. Plan and allocate demand for critical PV raw materials (e.g., wafers/cells, glass, backsheets, encapsulants, aluminum frames, solder ribbons), accounting for specifications such as grade, color, bin, and efficiency to minimize production changeover losses.
  3. Monitor supplier delivery performance, maintain daily/weekly shortage reports and incoming material schedules; proactively resolve delays, quality issues, or supply disruptions to achieve Just-In-Time (JIT) or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) delivery.
  4. Manage inventory parameters (safety stock, min/max levels, reorder points); track inventory turnover, identify slow-moving/obsolete risks, and recommend action plans (e.g., consumption, downgrade use, resale, or disposal) to minimize working capital and avoid stockouts.
  5. Prepare and present regular reports on material shortages, on-time delivery rates, inventory analysis, and supply risks; contribute material insights to cross-functional S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings.
  6. Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Production teams on returns, corrective actions, quantity variances, and supplier performance evaluations.
  7. Assist in supplier development, cost reduction projects, and supply chain risk mitigation to support Hounen Solar's commitment to high-quality, cost-competitive, and domestically-focused manufacturing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Associate's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in material planning, MRP execution, or procurement follow-up in a manufacturing environment;
  • Experience in the solar/PV, electronics, semiconductor, or battery industry is highly preferred (familiarity with PV materials such as silicon wafers/cells, glass, EVA/POE, frames is a strong advantage);

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar) with deep knowledge of MRP logic and modules;
  • Solid understanding of MRP principles (gross/net requirements, lead times, safety stock, yield/loss factors, lot sizing);
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis); experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus;
  • Familiarity with APS, MES, or advanced planning tools is advantageous.

Language Requirements:

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with international suppliers, read technical specifications/documents in both languages, and handle supplier correspondence in Mandarin when necessary.

Average Daily Census on the unit is 28, with a blend of cardiac surgical and medical diagnoses. The Heart Center cares for patients with congenital and acute heart disease of any age based on care needs. Common procedures associated with this unit's care include cardiac surgery, Ventricular Assist Devices, Heart Transplant, cardiac catheterization, and all medical diagnoses associated with cardiac care for the children in South Carolina. Job Summary/Purpose

With limited supervision, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) reports to the Nurse Manager.  The ANM assists the Nurse Manager in overall assessment, strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in assigned areas. The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Center Infrastructure) is a technical leader responsible for the architecture, integration, and validation of advanced mechanical systems supporting hyperscale data center environments. - Lead the end-to-end mechanical design and engineering of hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) systems, including liquid-cooled rack assemblies, CDUs, manifolds, enclosures, structural frames, and associated hydronic piping systems.

- Serve as the technical authority for single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling architectures, including primary and secondary loop design, in-rack distribution, and system integration within hyperscale data center environments.

- Design, analyze, and validate machined components, welded fabrications, manifolds, and structural systems using advanced engineering principles, including stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), flow modeling, and structural load calculations to ensure mechanical integrity and code compliance.

- Lead wetted material selection and compatibility analysis for liquid cooling systems, including corrosion mitigation strategies, surface treatments, cleanliness standards, and long-term durability considerations.

- Develop and review CAD models and complete technical data packages using CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools; ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and system-level integration.

- Author and approve technical specifications for piping systems, rack-level cooling infrastructure, and hydronic components, including installation guidelines, maintenance procedures, testing requirements, and compliance with applicable standards (ASME, ISO).

- Establish and oversee validation protocols including hydrostatic pressure testing, leak detection and mitigation, flow resistance analysis, and corrosion verification to ensure regulatory compliance and operational reliability.

- Evaluate customer design proposals and technical specifications to assess feasibility, manufacturability, cost, and risk; provide recommendations to optimize performance and total cost of ownership.

- Lead cross-functional design reviews with electrical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure full system integration and compliance with product specifications and applicable plumbing and hydronic codes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.

Experience: 

- 8 years' experience in mechanical design and integration of mission-critical systems.

This is not a single-language codebase. The role requires the ability to make informed decisions on TypeScript design patterns, Python FastAPI architecture, AWS security posture, and Terraform state management in context with one another.


The Platform Challenge

The client is fundamentally a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for dynamic application generation. This differs from building a traditional SaaS product. Rather than building one application, you're building infrastructure that enables users to build their own applications.

What this means architecturally:

  • Dynamic Content Generation at Scale: Unlike traditional development where code is fixed, AppGen generates JSON form schemas, validation rules, and UI layouts on demand. The FormBuilder component doesn't know what fields will exist until runtime. The layout engine renders user-designed screens from configuration, not hardcoded templates.
  • Multi-Tenant Isolation & Data Segregation: Each user gets their own generated app, potentially deployed to their own AWS environment. The architecture must account for data isolation, namespace management, and cross-tenant security considerations.
  • User-Defined Data Structures: Traditional applications are built with predetermined database schemas. AppGen works differently—form structures, field types, and validation rules emerge from user conversations with Claude. This brings engineering challenges: How do you safely execute validation logic that users define? When users modify existing forms that have thousands of submissions, how do you maintain backward compatibility? How do you version schemas?
  • Content Rendering, Not Code Generation: Unlike traditional no-code platforms where users drag-and-drop to build, AppGen uses AI instead. Users chat with Claude, Claude generates a form schema, and your platform renders that schema reliably across diverse field types, validation patterns, and workflows. The system renders configurations for immediate use, rather than generating code for later deployment.

Experience that directly transfers:

  • You've contributed to or led development of low-code/no-code platforms (visual builders, workflow engines, configuration-driven systems)

  • Guide architecture discussions: Help senior developers think through design trade-offs. Should we use NgRx or Angular signals for this feature? When does a new Lambda function become worthwhile given cold-start costs?
  • Identify and address system-wide bottlenecks: Work across layers to improve performance. Explore Lambda cold-start optimization, RDS query efficiency, and DynamoDB access patterns.
  • Establish patterns and guide consistency: Define coding conventions that work across Python, TypeScript, and Terraform. Help new team members understand the reasoning behind architectural choices.
  • What this looks like in practice: You're able to justify architectural decisions with technical reasoning. When someone questions an approach, you can explain the trade-offs you considered. You can write code in multiple languages to validate an approach if needed.

2. Code Review & Technical Guidance (30%)

  • Full-stack PR reviews: Review Python FastAPI endpoints and Angular components with equal depth, understanding how they interact.
  • Deep technical review: Catch issues thoughtful code review can surface:

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing
and maintaining AMA's enterprise data platform to support analytics,
interoperability, and responsible AI adoption. This role partners closely with
platform engineering, data governance, data science, IT security, and business

role contributes to AMA's modern lakehouse architecture, optimizing data
operations, and embedding governance and quality standards into engineering
workflows. This role serves as a
senior technical contributor within the team-providing mentorship to junior

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Engineering & AI Enablement

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and
