Job Details About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Project Accountant to join our finance team in supporting a growing engineering and environmental services firm.
This role plays a key part in maintaining the company’s financial accuracy and compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to inform business decisions and uphold sound fiscal practices.
Key Responsibilities Lead general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accuracy of financial data.
Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines.
Conduct balance sheet analyses and variance reviews to support financial integrity.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes to provide insight for operational planning.
Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies.
