Position Details About the NICU Our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), located within Geisinger's Janet Weis Children's Hospital, features 41 beds and provides advanced care for newborns and infants from 23 weeks gestation through term.

We specialize in treating complex conditions, including respiratory, cardiac, genetic, surgical, and neurological disorders.

Position Details Schedule Details: Part time (.5 FTE, 20 hours per week), rotation ( D/N), every other weekend, every other holiday.

Unit Details: Advanced Acute Care Cardiovascular (HFAM8) is a 30 bed, private room, Cardiology, Vascular, Thoracic and Med-Surgical with a cardiac diagnosis unit.

We take patients needing conscious sedation for bedside cardioversions/Chest Tube insertion, Bi-pap, Hi-flow and Ultra-filtration for Heart Failure patients.

Some of the cardiac drips we take are Milrinone, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Cardizem and Dobutamine.

Currently, we do not take titratable drips.

Also caring for patients post cardiac catheterization/cardiac procedure and patients with heart failure requiring inpatient interventions.

Multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

This includes, but not limited to, nursing, physicians, respiratory, physical/occupational therapy, and care management all working as a team to provide the best patient care.

Position Details GP2 is a 24-bed advanced acute care unit.

They provide complex patient care for a wide variety of medical diagnoses that require inpatient care and hospitalization.

This includes the need for telemetry and frequent observation.

They see patients with pneumonia, COPD, cardiac conditions, renal disorders, GI disorders and sepsis as well as postoperative patients.

GP2 is an ideal unit for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as a team.

GP2 works closely with the emergency room and PACU departments.

GP2 offers a valuable experience for those who want to pursue ER work or may have an interest in becoming a critical care nurse in the future.

This is a flex position where a minimum of 24 hours of availability, on every 4 week-schedule, is required.

This availability and coverage must be to fill 24 hours of core needs.

Job Description: Assists surgeon with procedures related to the care of patient of all ages during surgical intervention.

Assists in the coordination of treatments with other disciplines.

Job Duties Provides nursing care to Life Flight.

Follows and adheres to Act 37 standards and protocols.

Accepts a duty assignment at any program site as deemed necessary by program leadership to maintain operations.

Provides nursing care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to accepting medical facility.

Maintains thorough patient care documentation in the Electronic Medical Record.

Position Details Labor & Delivery at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital is comprised of (3) labor rooms and a separate Post-Partum floor with (10) private rooms.

Inpatient nurses with L&D will be required to complete a 4-6 month orientation and preceptorship.

Orientation includes, but is not limited to, the completion of external fetal monitoring coursework, Neonatal resuscitation provider certification (NRP,) and Perinatal Orientation Education Program (POEP).

Schedule/Shift Requirements Include: Part-time position; 20 hours weekly Night shift: 7:00pm
