About the Role: Estate Planning Attorney – Advanced Tax & Wealth Planning
We are seeking an experienced estate planning attorney with at least seven years of practice experience, including substantial work in advanced tax and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held business owners.
This role is ideal for an attorney who:

You will design and implement planning for both:
- Clients below the estate tax threshold who need thoughtful, protective planning, and
- High-net-worth clients requiring advanced transfer tax, business succession, and legacy strategies.
A significant portion of our complex planning involves irrevocable trusts for asset protection and Medicaid planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated estate plans for high-net-worth clients and business owners
- Advise on advanced federal estate, gift, and GST tax planning strategies
- Structure and draft complex planning vehicles, including:
- Irrevocable trusts (grantor and non-grantor)
- Lifetime gifting strategies
- Business succession plans
- Develop and implement asset protection and Medicaid planning strategies
- Counsel clients on charitable planning and long-term legacy planning
- Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professional advisors to ensure coordinated planning
- Translate complex legal and tax concepts into clear, practical guidance
- Work closely with paralegals and support staff to deliver a high-touch client experience
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of estate planning experience
- Demonstrated experience with advanced tax planning for high-net-worth clients
- Meaningful experience designing and drafting irrevocable trusts
Technical Strength
- Strong working knowledge of federal estate, gift, and GST tax law
- Experience with wealth transfer strategies and business succession planning
- Familiarity with asset protection and/or Medicaid planning is strongly preferred
- If no prior experience, a willingness to learn this area from our founding attorney
Client & Team Skills

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
