Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Part Time | Residential | Hybrid Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a well-established residential treatment program located just 20 minutes outside of Austin, TX. Nestled on a 50-acre gated ranch, the program offers a serene, therapeutic environment that supports healing for adolescents aged 12–17 years. This part-time role (approximately 20 hours/week) is ideal for a psychiatrist looking to make a meaningful impact with a manageable caseload, structured support, and consistent scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for all new intakes within 24 hours of admission (telehealth permitted on off-days and weekends)
- Provide weekly psychiatric follow-ups for all residents
- Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment team meetings (Wednesdays, 2–4 PM Central – must attend in person)
- Collaborate with a full clinical team including therapists, nurses, and case managers
- Provide on-call coverage (minimal call volume expected due to program size)
- Weekend intakes must be seen within 24 hours (telehealth acceptable if not scheduled onsite)
- Capacity: 19 residential beds
- Average Daily Census: 18 (with a steady waitlist)
- Average Length of Stay: 35 days
- Setting: Gated ranch with a main home, dormitory, and overflow living areas

Job Description
The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of a construction project from its inception through to completion. The day-to-day involves overseeing the entire construction project or specific phases, ensuring that the client’s requirements regarding functionality and standards are met. This role is justified by the need for expert oversight into large-scale commercial builds where change management and technical trade knowledge are paramount to a successful conclusion.

Our history Talkiatry was founded in 2020 by Dr. Georgia Gaveras, a triple board-certified psychiatrist in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry, and Robert Krayn, a patient who experienced firsthand the challenges of accessing care. Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice built to combine the stability of a hospital practice with the clinical autonomy of private practice.
This role is designed for psychiatrists who want:
- Predictable, W-2 compensation and benefits
- Flexible scheduling, control over their schedule, session structure, and patient population
- Minimal administrative burden in a fully remote, outpatient model
- 100% remote, outpatient psychiatry
- Lower to moderate acuity populations (ex. anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD)
- Patient population across the lifespan: children & adolescents (treated by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only), adults, and geriatric patients
- Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes, 30-minute follow ups)
- No inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization care or crisis coverage
- In-house referral network to therapists
- Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing
- Control over schedule and weekly availability
- Session length within established clinical standards
- Patient population, balanced to individual criteria and preferences
- Clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume
