Job Description Position Overview This position is a non-direct patient care role.

As a Nurse Practitioner at our practice, you'll play a crucial role in supporting administrative aspects of patient care.

Working closely with our physicians and mid-level providers, you'll ensure efficient and effective patient care management.

Duties & Responsibilities Medication Management: Oversee and manage medication refill requests.

Results Review and Interpretation: Interpret lab and radiology results, communicate findings to patients and clinical staff, and update patient charts as needed.

Patient Inquiries: Respond to patient queries and requests, providing accurate information and guidance.

Specialist Referral Notes: Review notes from specialists and update patient charts accordingly.

Preventive, Routine, and Acute Care Support: Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness care in alignment with physician recommendations.

Qualifications State Licensure Georgia State License: Current Georgia state license as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in family or adult medicine.

Certifications Specialty Board Certification: Board certification in adult or family medicine.

National Board Certification: Possess national board certification.

AANP or ANCC Certification: Certification through either the AANP or ANCC.

Education Educational Background: Master's Degree in Nursing or a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited nurse practitioner program.

Experience Clinical Experience: Minimum three years of primary care experience, specifically in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.

Coding and Billing Proficiency: Knowledge of E/M coding guidelines.

EMR and Dictation Proficiency: Proficiency in EClinicalWorks EMR system and Medical Dragon One for dictation.

Clinical and Personal Skills Strong Clinical Skills: Ability to work independently with robust clinical skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Operational Details & Scheduling Work Schedule: Full-time position, structured within a 4.5-day workweek, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Weekends & Holidays: Office closed for weekends and major holidays.

Patient Volume: 2 new or 3 established patients per hour.

On Call Responsibilities: Minimal phone calls only.
