ProSidian seeks a Federal Realty Specialist Professional (Fed Grade Level: GS-12) to be located in Kansas City, MO and work as part of a team that deliver the variety of administrative and professional support classifications at various locations in the Heartland Region. The Heartland Region consists of four states; Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. Federal Realty Specialist Professional (Fed Grade Level: GS-12) - Kansas City, MO Duties
- Employee will serve as a project manager for projects in Federal space.
- Works with tenant agency personnel, architects and engineers or other technical personnel to review the agency's space request to determine the specific amount and type of space required; monitor build out and acceptance of the space.
- Review requests for space from customer agencies.
- Determine types of resources necessary, utilizing budget development and resource allocations.
- Develop housing strategies.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to customer agencies regarding their requests for space; consult with the customer on the amount, type and location of the space.
- Analyze space inventory for utilization of existing federally owned space in satisfying the space requirements of customer agencies.
- Identify projects/tasks and develops scopes of work to be handled by contract service providers. Assists agencies in developing their space specifications and provides detailed information on their Occupancy Agreements.
- Coordinates the efficient space layout and design of space and may coordinate an agency's relocation. Identify agency needs, which may include Integrated Services.

The Agency supports a broad range of systems, consisting of thousands of individual pieces of equipment in the Facilities, Surveillance, Navigational Aids, Automation and Communications, Weather Systems and other agencies. In support of National Airspace System systems and other equipment, The Aviation Transportation Agency also provides configuration management, hardware and software documentation, modification(s), field support, systems, and acquisition support. SUMMARY:
Design Engineer II is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new manufactured products and proprietary equipment as well as improvement to existing products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Originates and/or develops product designs relating to defined customer needs as well as proprietary products in new to market applications; collaborates with Sales and Management to develop new business opportunities.
- Utilizes conventional engineering principles to provide comprehensive engineering studies of components, weldments and assemblies suited to meet detailed product performance specifications.
- Identifies, evaluates, and recommends materials and production processes to optimize product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Plans and directs product testing requirements, if not previously specified by the customer.
- Perform design for manufacturability reviews, Bill of Material management, and cost evaluations.
- Provide engineering support to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Management Teams.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Key Responsibilities:
