Facility is seeking BC Physician Assistant or RNFA certified Nurse Practitioner to assume the role of Cardiac Surgery First Assistant (CVOR)

• The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of experience and be proficient in all aspects of first assisting for major cardiac surgical procedures, endoscopic and open vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and have experience with a high-volume CT surgery program.
• 100% OR
• Work with an established team of Cardiac Surgeons and First Assist NP/PAs
• State of the art 6-story heart hospital with the largest operating rooms in the country, hybrid CVOR
• Ability to work with a nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgery program that performs more than 1,000 pump cases annually
• Large robotic program
• If NP, must hold RNFA certification
• Applicants will be required to have BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association

• Monday-Friday schedule
• 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of designation administrative time per week-opportunity exists for a 4-day work week
