Engineering Project Coordinator in the Akron, OH - Pittsburgh, PA region (Remote with travel to project sites)
- $63/hr. – $74/hr. (commensurate with experience)
- Contract role with travel required
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and infrastructure projects. This role works closely with project leadership and engineering teams to ensure schedules, documentation, and communication stay on track across multiple active projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of engineering and infrastructure projects
- Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on timeline
- Coordinate communication between engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Maintain and organize project documentation including drawings, specs, and reports
- Assist with change orders, document control, and project tracking processes
- Coordinate meetings, capture notes, and track action items
- Support budgeting, scheduling updates, and resource coordination
- Identify risks or scheduling conflicts and escalate as needed
- Assist with conceptual engineering tasks for pipeline and station design
- Utilize AutoCAD for concept drawings and sketches
- Provide support during construction including inspections and technical documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–5+ years of experience supporting engineering, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- Experience with engineering drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar design tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams
