Position Summary:
The Project Engineer supports the successful execution of electrical construction projects by assisting with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, and communication among project stakeholders. This individual acts as a technical liaison between office and field operations, helping to ensure that the project runs efficiently, meets specifications, and stays on schedule and within budget. The Project Engineer plays a vital role in quality assurance, procurement tracking, and issue resolution across multiple phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Technical Support
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scope documents to provide guidance to field personnel and subcontractors.
- Assist in identifying scope gaps, conflicts, or design discrepancies, and recommend solutions or clarifications.
Document Control
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, as-builts, and change orders.
- Ensure all drawings and specifications are current and distributed to appropriate parties.
- Track and follow up on outstanding RFIs and submittals to avoid project delays.
Procurement & Material Tracking
- Work with purchasing teams to track material orders, deliveries, and lead times.
- Coordinate equipment and material needs between the office and field teams to ensure timely delivery to job sites.
- Maintain procurement logs and update stakeholders on procurement status.
Scheduling & Progress Monitoring
- Assist in creating and updating project schedules and three-week lookaheads.
- Monitor field production and work progress; update tracking logs and help with delay mitigation.
- Attend project meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items as needed.
Quality & Safety
- Support QA/QC efforts by verifying work conforms to plans, codes, and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections and testing activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Assist safety teams with safety audits, documentation, and reporting.
Closeout & Turnover
- Assist with compiling closeout documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate final inspections and punch list completion with clients and field teams.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (required).
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or engineering, preferably in electrical contracting or MEP trades.
- Internship or co-op experience in a construction-related role is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and project life cycles.

Position Description:
The position of Estimator should be capable of preparing proposals for all types of projects (i.e. commercial, industrial, mission critical, education, healthcare, underground, etc.). An individual in this position shall have experience in understanding the means and methods required for completion of various types of construction. A successful estimator shall be able to complete all required take-offs, requests for proposal package reviews, and site reviews required to prepare any proposal. Data Center Infrastructure Team

The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Center Infrastructure) is a technical leader responsible for the architecture, integration, and validation of advanced mechanical systems supporting hyperscale data center environments. This role requires deep expertise in liquid cooling technologies (single-phase and two-phase), hydronic system design, structural integration, and manufacturable rack-level infrastructure solutions.
This role is responsible for defining system performance requirements, developing technical specifications, selection and integration of critical components, and leading mechanical design from concept through production release. Responsibilities include wetted material selection, thermal and structural analysis, fastening strategies, component layout, and design for manufacturability. Partners cross-functionally to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective Data Center Infrastructure solutions while advancing innovation in liquid cooling performance.
Lead the end-to-end mechanical design and engineering of hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) systems, including liquid-cooled rack assemblies, CDUs, manifolds, enclosures, structural frames, and associated hydronic piping systems.
Serve as the technical authority for single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling architectures, including primary and secondary loop design, in-rack distribution, and system integration within hyperscale data center environments.
Define and validate operational performance requirements for liquid-cooled infrastructure, including pressure ratings, hydrostatic limits, temperature ranges, flow rates and uniformity, thermal expansion, durability, and serviceability.
Design, analyze, and validate machined components, welded fabrications, manifolds, and structural systems using advanced engineering principles, including stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), flow modeling, and structural load calculations to ensure mechanical integrity and code compliance.
Lead wetted material selection and compatibility analysis for liquid cooling systems, including corrosion mitigation strategies, surface treatments, cleanliness standards, and long-term durability considerations.
Develop and review CAD models and complete technical data packages using CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools; ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and system-level integration.
Author and approve technical specifications for piping systems, rack-level cooling infrastructure, and hydronic components, including installation guidelines, maintenance procedures, testing requirements, and compliance with applicable standards (ASME, ISO).
Establish and oversee validation protocols including hydrostatic pressure testing, leak detection and mitigation, flow resistance analysis, and corrosion verification to ensure regulatory compliance and operational reliability.
Evaluate customer design proposals and technical specifications to assess feasibility, manufacturability, cost, and risk; provide recommendations to optimize performance and total cost of ownership.
Lead cross-functional design reviews with electrical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure full system integration and compliance with product specifications and applicable plumbing and hydronic codes.
Optimize rack manifold design and manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, surface finishing, connection interfaces, venting and draining strategies, and flow path optimization to enhance performance and manufacturability.
Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing assembly methods and tooling in collaboration with production teams and equipment vendors to improve quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Lead root cause investigations for complex mechanical failures identified during validation or field deployment and implement corrective design improvements.

How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a Principal Thermal Rack Engineer within the Intelligent Infrastructure Segment to drive advanced cooling solutions for high-performance computing systems. This role involves incorporating thermal components such as direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and manifolds into network and server racks (EIA 19” and ORv3). You will leverage CFD tools to perform rack and system-level thermal and fluid analysis, ensuring optimal flow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature performance. Additionally, you will create 3D CAD designs for seamless hardware integration, lead validation testing, and resolve thermal or flow issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, customers, and global vendors is essential to align thermal architectures with overall system design and international standards.

- Lead the end-to-end integration and testing of rack thermal solutions, including liquid cooling systems in varying form factors and product lines.

- Ensure mechanical designs support airflow management, thermal containment, and integration with cooling systems (e.g., in-row cooling, in-rack cooling, rear door heat exchangers).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support and maintain SAP technologies related to partner compensation and licensing, including APM (ICM), ALM, OK2, and Advanced Workflow.
Perform analysis, design, development, and integration on medium to high level complexity assignments.
Develop and support automation capabilities through webservices and APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across the licensing and compensation platform, including integrations with internal and external systems.
Collaborate with product analysts, quality engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements and ensure platform stability.
Analyze job failures, support tickets, and backlog stories to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, story refinement, and retrospectives.
Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing across the EPS team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience supporting SAP technologies, preferably in compensation or licensing domains.
Familiarity with SAP ICM/APM and ALM modules.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP Certification in relevant Modules
Development Languages: Java, Groovy, SQL, Git, IntelliJ, webservices
Understanding of compensation payment structures for agents and familiarity with licensing and regulatory compliance frameworks governing producer eligibility to sell products.

LHH has a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a Senior Databricks AI/ML Engineer to join our client's engineering team.
