You will serve as a WELDER in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY to include work sites of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Facility Bangor and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.

Help
- You will be identifying and associating metals, alloys and filler metal by color code and standard markings.
- You will be producing welds to the acceptance standards of NDT, strength, tightness or pressure tests.

- You will be inspecting completed welding projects.
- You will be using various welding machines and welding processes to weld piping parts or structures.

Job Overview
The role of the welder is to provide day-to-day Shipboard installation and welding support for a variety of RF, audio, video, and communication systems installations. This position reports to the Installation Group Project Manager.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Working with Task Leaders, program/project managers, and SMEs, the welder will assist with:
- the Shipboard installation and integration of complex audio visual display
- various communication and electronic warfare systems
- related ancillary and computer based systems onboard naval ships and command centers worldwide.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Accountable For:
- We expect this employee to have experience in and be familiar with work being performed in or around industrial environments such as shipyards and Naval/Coast Guard bases and piers. As well as various and subcontractor Government sites.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must have High School diploma.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% CONUS/OCONUS.
- Must be willing to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have experience in welding steel and aluminum.
- Must have experience welding in a shipyard environment.
- Must have the ability to lay out and perform structural modifications and install foundations based on reading SIDs and ICDs
- Must be willing to perform other installation tasks in addition to welding. Such as cable installation, priming, lagging, painting, on load and offload of equipment and materials.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
Preferred:
- Experience brazing copper nickel pipe and Oxy Fuel torch operation.
- CPR and first aid training experience.
- Confined space training.
- Climber safety training.
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time position in support of the Chugach integration and installation tasking team lead. The work may be performed at (Location TBD), industrial areas to include; shipyard, Navy/Coast Guard bases, shipboard and shore site locations.
- Work is performed inside industrial environments and subject to working around exposures to hazards that may cause bodily harm, cuts, bruises, burns, etc.
- Work may also be performed outside even during in climate weather.
- Work may be performed at heights (aloft) where fall protection is required.
- Work may be performed welding and cutting of metal.
- Work may be performed off a ladder.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 45 lbs., climb vertical ladders, operate and work around heavy machinery.
- Work at heights (aloft).
- Operate power tools safely.
- Carry equipment and machinery around ships.
- Ability to stand and walk most of the shift.
- Kneel and crawl at work site.
- Crouch through void openings.
- Safely evacuate ship during an emergency.

About the Role
A well-established global company in the industrial sector is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support all U.S. import/export operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, detailed documentation, and coordinating shipments across international supply chains. You’ll partner closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal logistics teams to ensure every shipment is accurate, compliant, and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Manage import/export documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs records
- Perform HTS/commodity code classifications for equipment, parts, and components
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and global logistics teams
- Maintain compliance with EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and internal trade policies
- Support internal and external audits, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Review and clear documentation for repairs, warranty returns, spare parts, and full equipment shipments
- Assist in the continuous improvement of compliance workflows and database accuracy

Land Acquisition Executive- Mid Atlantic Region
Chesapeake Homes is seeking a seasoned Land Acquisition Executive to lead land sourcing, underwriting, negotiation, and acquisition activities across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is responsible for identifying and securing high-quality land opportunities that align with Chesapeake Homes’ long-term growth strategy, product mix, and market positioning.
The ideal candidate brings deep regional market knowledge, strong broker and landowner relationships, and a proven track record of closing profitable, entitled, or entitle-able residential land deals. While the role covers multiple Mid-Atlantic markets, residency in or near Virginia Beach is strongly preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Land Sourcing & Strategy
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue land acquisition opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic region
- Develop and execute a regional land acquisition strategy aligned with company growth goals
- Maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, municipalities, and consultants
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, zoning changes, and entitlement pipelines
- Financial Analysis & Underwriting
- Prepare and review detailed financial pro formas, feasibility analyses, and risk assessments
- Evaluate deal structures including outright purchases, options, joint ventures, takedowns, and phased acquisitions
- Ensure land deals meet or exceed return thresholds and strategic objectives
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership on capital deployment decisions
- Negotiation & Deal Execution
- Lead negotiations for purchase agreements, option contracts, and amendments
- Coordinate due diligence activities including environmental, geotechnical, title, zoning, and utility reviews
- Oversee entitlement and approval processes where applicable
- Manage contracts through closing in partnership with legal, finance, and development teams
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with construction, development, architecture, and sales teams to ensure land suitability
- Provide input on product positioning, lot yield optimization, and community design
- Present acquisition opportunities to executive leadership and investment committees
- Portfolio & Pipeline Management
- Maintain a strong, forward-looking land pipeline to support ongoing and future community needs
- Track deal status, timelines, and risk exposure
- Support long-term land planning and inventory management across markets

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of land acquisition experience with a residential homebuilder, developer, or investment group strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Mid-Atlantic markets, zoning processes, and entitlement environments
- Demonstrated success closing land deals of varying size and complexity
- Advanced financial modeling and underwriting skills
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication abilities
- Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively with executive leadership
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
- Existing broker and landowner relationships in Virginia, North Carolina, and surrounding Mid-Atlantic markets
- Experience working with both finished lots and raw land
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, deal-driven approach
- Strong judgment, integrity, and long-term partnership orientation
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8:30 am - 5 pm – additional hours as needed
Job Type:

Position Summary
The Director of Total Rewards will design, lead, and continually enhance Titan America’s enterprise-wide compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy to support talent attraction, retention, and performance across a multi-state industrial workforce. This role serves as the company’s subject matter expert in executive and broad-based compensation, benefits design, governance, compliance, and market intelligence — ensuring strong alignment with business goals and Titan’s performance-driven culture.
This position is highly strategic, requiring strong financial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence senior leaders. The role will also oversee the company’s corporate relocation program and play a key role in supporting organizational growth, workforce mobility, and M&A integration.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Governance
- Lead the design and administration of salary structures, short- and long-term incentive plans, annual merit cycles, sales compensation plans, and executive compensation programs.
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation studies to maintain competitiveness across exempt, non-exempt, union, and skilled-trade roles.
- Develop and maintain pay governance practices that ensure internal equity, legal compliance, and alignment with Titan’s compensation philosophy.
- Partner with Finance and HRBPs on annual budgeting, workforce planning, and compensation forecasting.
- Oversee the preparation of executive compensation disclosures (including CD&A-style reporting), ensuring an appropriate balance between regulatory transparency and company objectives.
- Ensure clear and effective communication of executive compensation programs and program changes to participating leaders.
Benefits & Well-Being
- Oversee the strategy, design, and administration of employee benefit programs, including health & welfare plans, retirement programs (401k, frozen pension/OPEB oversight), well-being initiatives, and paid leave programs.
- Evaluate benefit competitiveness and cost-effectiveness; lead vendor RFPs, renewals, and negotiations.
- Monitor compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, IRS, DOL, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Lead and manage Titan America’s corporate relocation program, including policy design, vendor partnerships, budget stewardship, and employee experience for moves across U.S. locations.
HR Systems, Analytics & Reporting
- Ensure reward-related data integrity across HR systems (e.g., UKG, SAP, etc.).
- Build analytics and dashboards to inform decision-making around compensation cost, pay equity, incentive effectiveness, and workforce trends.
- Oversee accurate and timely filings, audits, and required reporting.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CHRO and executive team on total rewards strategy, emerging trends, and risks.
- Act as Titan America’s thought leader for total rewards — actively engaging with external peers, industry groups, consultants, and subject-matter experts to maintain deep, current knowledge of best practices.
- Lead the development of recommendations to senior management regarding changes in total rewards strategy, new program design, and major plan modifications. Prepare clear written proposals and supporting business cases aligned with market trends, talent needs, and business objectives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support competitive offer design and workforce mobility programs.
- Provide total rewards expertise in M&A due diligence, modeling, and post-integration planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of rewards and benefits professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, including leadership responsibility.
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or multi-site environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in executive compensation, incentive plan design, and benefits governance.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; experience with HRIS platforms (UKG preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CCP, CBP, or CEBS strongly preferred.
