Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the AOTA academic and intern requirements for competence.
Experience: None required, but preferred
License/Certification: Nevada State Licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist. Current certification from the
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Job Description:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
Experience:
One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
License/Certification:
Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients). Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty or department.
Other:
Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Note:
An RN graduate is a nurse who has completed a course of study at a school of nursing and is eligible for the NCLEX. The RN graduate performs directly under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or RN designee. An interim RN license must be granted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.
