Project Manager – Building Envelope & Restoration (Commercial Construction)

Location: Forestville, MD (Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 remote)

Compensation: $100K – $130K base + performance bonus

The Opportunity

Axis Talent Group is partnered with a leading building-envelope and structural-restoration contractor in the DC market.

This is a specialized, technical position focused on diagnosing, managing, and executing complex projects involving:

• Waterproofing systems
• Façade and masonry restoration
• Sealants/air & vapor barriers
• Epoxy and traffic coatings
• Structural concrete repair and strengthening

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Manage multiple active restoration and envelope projects across the DC market
• Lead projects involving leak investigation, façade repairs, coatings, and structural fixes
• Own financial performance: budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
• Coordinate with field crews, specialty subs, and material vendors
• Conduct site visits to solve real-world construction issues, not just track schedules
• Interface directly with GCs, consultants, and owners

Presents speech-language in-services to nursing staff, Rehabilitation Department, and medical residents as assigned. Provides guidance to and may serve as a professional resource for graduate students completing a clinical practicum.

• Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books , journals, and other literature, and by attending related seminars and conferences.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• 1-2 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience.

• ASHA - American Speech Language Hearing Association.

• SP-L - Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia within 90 Days.

Summary/Objective

To provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

Essential Functions
