Position Overview
A Senior Business Analyst leads the identification, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements and processes across multiple projects and initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and solution designs. The Senior Business Analyst drives requirements discovery, process improvement, and business validation efforts, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals, technical standards, and operational realities.
Senior Business Analysts are expected to proactively identify risks, resolve ambiguity, mentor junior team members, and support initiatives throughout the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Discovery & Analysis
- Lead end-to-end business and functional requirements analysis, including workflow and process analysis.
- Elicit, analyze, and document complex business needs through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document reviews.
- Distinguish between user requests and true business needs through critical evaluation and structured analysis.
- Decompose high-level concepts into detailed requirements and abstract detailed findings into strategic insights.
Process Improvement & Solution Design
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities in existing processes and systems.
- Support business process re-engineering and transformation initiatives.
- Conduct impact analysis and support cost-benefit or feasibility assessments as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
- Plan, facilitate, and lead stakeholder workshops, working sessions, and requirement reviews.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by clearly communicating scope, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level business analysts; provide review and feedback on deliverables.
Documentation & Deliverables
- Produce high-quality artifacts including business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process flows, and workflow diagrams.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, traceable, and consumable by both business and technical audiences.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout design, development, testing, and post-deployment phases.
Collaboration & Delivery Support
- Work closely with development, testing, and implementation teams to support solution delivery.
- Participate in Agile or hybrid delivery ceremonies and support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and validation activities.
- Assist with test case definition, user acceptance criteria, and solution validation.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.
