Job Purpose
The Senior Project Manager leads all phases of construction—from budgeting and bidding through cost control, client relations, and closeout. General Summary of Position
Assists physician with routine to complex invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations; cardiac and vascular percutaneous transluminal angioplasties structural heart and other interventional procedures. Performs a variety of related ancillary support activities and other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists/scrubs in with physician during routine to complex invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures. Prepares catheters balloons guiding wires etc. to physician as needed.
- Prepares cleans and drapes appropriate site prior to invasive procedure ensuring a sterile field according to Association of Operating Room Nurse (AORN) standards.
- Enters required patient data into the computer connects electrocardiograph (EKG) and pulse oximeter monitors. Provides physical and psychological comfort to patients prior to during and post-procedure.
- Monitors electrocardiograph (ECG) blood pressure and other hemodynamic parameters during procedure in the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory (CCL).
- Assists with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) other cardiac assist devices and sets-up/removes arterial and venous lines as needed in the CCL CCU and ICU. Draws arterial blood gases (ABG) as requested by physician. Performs activated coagulation time tests to determine appropriate arterial/venous sheaths removal. Accompanies and monitors patient during transports.
- Prepares/cleans arranges and stocks room/equipment for next procedure. Maintains and stocks inventory such as catheters defibrillators monitors and temporary pacemakers. Provides monitors/external pacemakers to various locations within the hospital.
- Document required data prior to during and post-procedure and enters appropriate codes/charges/equipment used into computer for statistical/billing reports.
- Discharges/transports patients from procedure room. Communicates/instructs patient regarding post procedure site care instructions and precautions as appropriate.
- Provides patient's family/significant others with information related to procedures according to departmental policy and procedures.
- Participates/responds to post-cardiac catheterization site bleeding hematomas pain loss of distal pulse etc. as appropriate and documents findings and resolution.
- Participates in the orientation training and inservices of other/new personnel as defined by CCL manager and departmental educator.
- Administers contrast at the direction of the physician while the physician is in the room directing the administration and dosage.
Minimal Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED including completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program and/or related college level education in basic sciences. required
Experience
- Experience in cardiovascular laboratory procedures particularly as relates to cardiac and vascular interventional procedures preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 1 Year required or
- R.T.(R)(CI) - Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 1 Year required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
- Health Services/ACLS required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Join our exceptional Main PACU in the recently inaugurated Verstandig Pavilion, located on Georgetown's campus. This state-of-the-art Medical and Surgical building, which spans 477,000 square feet, is dedicated to delivering optimal care and comfort to our patients.
The Phase I Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is comprised of two physical units on floors immediately above and below one another in the brand new Verstandig Pavilion. Each space contains 24 recovery bays, which support 31 operating rooms. These units provide immediate postoperative care to inpatient and outpatient surgical patients in accordance with ASPAN standards. The PACU Nurses care for adult and pediatric patients who have undergone a broad range of surgical procedures, with acuity ranging from Ambulatory to Critical Care. Surgical specialties include ENT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery and Transplant, as well as Urological, Vascular, Plastic, and Thoracic. Nursing care focuses on airway management, re-establishing hemodynamic stability, pain management, and frequent surgical site and vital sign assessments.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Events Manager oversees the planning and coordination of all company tradeshows, conferences, VIP customer events, and annual sales meetings. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of tradeshows, including maintaining the 18-month event calendar, budget, and guiding each event from initial contract review through post-event reports. The position ensures seamless execution, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration to align with marketing campaign objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines and event checklists for large-scale conferences, serving as the primary liaison and coordination hub for both North America and international teams’ exhibits to track the overall Marketing tradeshow plan in one document.
- Lead end-to-end tradeshow planning and execution, including but not limited to:
- Securing booth logistics quotes and vendor proposals;
- Processing conference agreements.
- Identify and manage event-related vendors, negotiate pricing, process agreements and invoices.
- Develop and manage event budgets and forecasts;
- Track expenses and prepare monthly reporting summaries post show noting recommended changes for future events;
- Coordinate all booth logistics, including renewal booth storage and logistic agreements.
- Work with booth vendor on quotes for booth repairs, shipping quotes, design updates and conference schedules for shipping, installation, dismantle, and onsite management including vendor coordination (AV, electrical, furnishings, labor, etc.).
- Ensure all marketing materials, signage, collateral, and promotional items are delivered on time.
- Oversees the print production of collateral and promotional giveaways, and works closely with Marketing and Creative Design to deliver high-impact event experiences;
- Fulfill brochures requests from SFDC to Field Sales reps, maintain print inventory of collateral.
- Support field sales representatives for table -top exhibits, including roller banners and table drapes.
- Source sustainable brand promotional items, reorder promotional giveaways for tradeshows, prospects, and customer/VIP meetings.
- Support Customer Briefings/Experience Center initiatives.

- Maintain organized documentation for all event-related agreements use shared folders.
