Position Summary

The Compensation Plan Operations Paralegal will support the legal and business teams in the intake, preparation, routing, and execution of loan officer compensation plans and related addendums. This role focuses on workflow management, structured request validation, template-based drafting, and coordination across legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.

This position is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce attorney workload on routine matters, and ensure consistency in compensation plan documentation.

The role will work within the company's contract workflow platform (such as IntelAgree or similar systems).

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, this role serves as a trusted project manager across client-funded work and strategic corporate initiatives such as product launches and public announcements.

Project manage client communications projects and corporate initiatives by leading intake, gathering requirements, contributing to dissemination plans, coordinating resources, and moving deliverables from kickoff through completion.

Own project coordination and execution by using project management tools to track timelines, owners, and progress; run status updates; follow up on outstanding items; and keep documentation and team communication current and organized (typical responsiveness target is 1-2 business days).

Draft and edit external-facing materials such as web copy, press releases, and client-ready collateral, translating research findings accurately and clearly for nontechnical audiences.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 3 years of relevant communications, PR, marketing, or agency experience (including internships).

Description

Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for either a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to work in our Interventional cardiology - structural heart/valve department. This position is a combination of 75% outpatient, 25% inpatient consults (not primary management of inpatients). The APP will be responsible for one-month and one-year clinic follow-ups for all structural heart/valve procedures and management of inpatient consults for valve. The program is evolving to support our APPs to expand their scope to evaluation of new outpatients for valve disease, primarily aortic valve for TAVR, and increased independence with inpatient consults.

Schedule: M-F, 5x8-hour shifts, potential for 4x10-hour shifts based on department needs

  • no nights/weekends/holidays/on-call

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrates clinical expertise and expanded knowledge through patient care activities which may include diagnosis and management of a wide range of health problems.
  • Responsible for health outcome of an assigned patient population.
  • Confers with collaborating physician and other health professionals in area of clinical expertise.
  • Develops appropriate educational systems for patients, families and staff in areas of expertise.
  • Mentors graduate students in aspects of advanced practice and patient care.
  • Actively participates in quality improvement and/or research pertinent to area of expertise.

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by a national certifying body as approved by the Illinois Department of Regulation APRN Board.
