The Clinician provides comprehensive reproductive healthcare services to patients at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas (PPGT). Works as part of the Health Services team in collaboration with Health Services and other team members to meet the clinical needs of patients as outlined in affiliate protocols. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and consults with supervising physicians as needed. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other forms of treatment, including contraception. The Clinician is part of the medical services team providing sexual and reproductive healthcare as outlined in affiliate protocols.

Provides services by telehealth and/or in-person visits including: history review, health education, physical exam, counseling, diagnosis, and treatment according to protocols. The Clinician works in partnership with management, Health Services and COMSO to provide the highest quality of patient care and excellent patient experience. Abides by the organization?s mission in performing job duties. Participates as a member of a team providing confidential, quality healthcare services, allowing patients to maintain a sense of dignity, trust and safety. There is a dual reporting structure for clinicians. Clinicians report directly to the Health Services Regional Director and clinical supervision is provided by the Lead Clinician. Performs duties to ensure productivity expectations, patient satisfaction and compliance standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Performs physical examinations with special emphasis on the reproductive system including breast examinations, pelvic/genital, cancer screening tests, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and other types of more specialized services or procedures as may be indicated by medical policy or protocols (e.g. gender affirming hormone therapy-GAHT).
• Orders, and interprets diagnostic studies as indicated and permitted by medical protocols. Performs lab testing per Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations and according to PPGT?s lab manual or manufacturer?s directions.
• Provides patient care according to all Medical Standards and Guidelines and/or the specific direction of a supervising physician. Consults with organization COMSO or designee when deviates from PPGT Medical Standards and Guidelines (MS&Gs).
• Provides relevant health instruction and education to include family planning, , sexual counseling, and principles of health promotion
• and maintenance.
• Documents exam findings and other clinical aspects of direct patient care into the medical record accurately.
• Codes billable services accurately based on medical record documentation using accepted practices, i.e. Evaluation and Management (E&M), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and diagnosis codes (ICD-10).
• Ensures conformity with the policies and procedures of the affiliate, Texas Medical Practice Act, Physician Assistant Licensing Act, Texas Nurse Practice Act, and rules promulgated under those acts.
• Recognizes ethical, legal, and professional issues inherent in providing care to health center patients throughout the life cycle.
• Initiates and monitors appropriate follow-up according to PPGT Medical Standards and Guidelines on all abnormal test results and referrals.
• Remains well informed about current contraceptive technology and reproductive and sexual healthcare issues.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education

• Master?s degree (or equivalent) and certification in specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Women?s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AG PCNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

Minimum Experience

• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant in reproductive healthcare or women?s health strongly preferred. In the absence of advance practice experience, candidates must have direct patient care experience (in addition to clinical rotation/externship/internship hours) such as a RN, LVN, Medical Assistant, laboratory technician in a supervised clinical setting such as: hospital, ambulatory surgery center, clinic, nursing home or other related medical setting (excluding home care).

Required Licenses or Certifications

• License to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriptive authority in the State of Texas or License to practice as a Physician Assistant by the Texas Medical Board. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses listed above and appropriate national certification (NCC, AMCB, AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) and CPR BLS certification.

Rapid-Med Urgent Care Center is currently seeking full-time Seasonal Advanced Practice Providers to join our team. As a Seasonal APP, you will spend most of your time treating patients from 9 months to adult by providing a variety of urgent care services as well as primary care services.

Location: Argyle, TX and/or Double Oak, TX

Hours: Shifts will be either 9 or 12 hours, depending on the day of the week. Rapid-Med is currently open M-F 9am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm. For October 1st-January 31st, expect a minimum of 14 shifts per month including at least 4 weekend shifts per month.

Responsibilities: Clinically evaluate and treat children and adults for allergies and rashes, chest pain, headaches and migraines, on-site x-rays, skin infections and abscesses, bronchitis and pneumonia, fevers, influenza, general GYN, sore throat and strep, acute abdominal pain, gastrointestinal infections with nausea and vomiting, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, eye injuries, lacerations, foreign body removal, sprains, strains, and fracture care. The Clinical Affairs Manager will provide clinical expertise, insight, and support to clinical end-users, clinical sales specialists, sales team, Regulatory, Engineering, marketing, and other corporate departments on safe and effective use of the Teleflex Medical product portfolio with primary emphasis on the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise. Procedural experience within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart Possess a minimum of five years' clinical exposure in the medical field in the Cardiology environment. Medical Device industry supporting Clinical and Medical Affairs, strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SalesForce experience preferred.

• Preferred three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in implementing and managing Windows and Open Systems server infrastructure hybrid cloud solutions in an enterprise environment; healthcare experience preferred.
• Highly experienced information systems professional with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex multi-level organization .
• Strong technical knowledge of VMWare ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Linux and AIX operating systems and management.
• Familiar with hyperconverged infrastructures such as VxRail.
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure Arc, System Center, Admin Center and SCCM.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Familiar with application delivery solutions such as Citrix.
• Experience with storage and data protection replication methodologies.
• Experience with Epic Infrastructure such as Hyperspace.
• Experience with ITSM functionalities such as change control, CMDB and ticketing systems.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), cybersecurity and clinical operations.
• Prior experience delivering high availability systems in a 24/7 environment across geographically dispersed business units.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate evaluation of technologies and achieve consensus on technical standards and solutions among a diverse group of information technology professionals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or related field strongly desired or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Responsible for installation and maintenance of server infrastructure along with upgrading/configuration and the life cycle management of hardware.
• Monitors functions of server infrastructure to ensure acceptable performance.
• Creates and maintains documentation related to server configuration and environments.
• Serves as subject matter expert across server operating systems and solutions (Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, AIX, VMWare ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V)
• Troubleshoots and resolves server and virtualization incidents.
• Maintain server patching to address security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cloud compute architect to design and build functional server environments.
• Provide level 2 escalation support and troubleshooting to resolve complex server incidents and tasks.
• Stay current on cloud and systems engineering trends (e.g., serverless computing, containerization, AI-driven automation) and evaluate their potential to enhance TGC operations.
• Ensure systems, applications and data are high availability, backed up and/or replicated to meet disaster and business recovery requirements.
• Implement and enforce security requirements to protect Azure-based systems and data.
• Anticipates and provides solutions for complex problems and issues, recommends upgrades and enhancements. Rapidly absorbs complex technical and conceptual information to identify issues and implications. Able to present understandable alternatives to both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Monitors industry trends, maintains knowledge of developments in cloud computing, database, storage, data protection, virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, server automation, monitoring and application delivery.
